The two accompanied Minister Yu on a business trip but failed to secure plane tickets. While Li Tianran was begging the flight attendant, Bai Mashuai made a phone call and got free upgrades to the business class thanks to his uncle's special privileges as an airline employee. In the hotel, Li Tianran shared his experience of saving money by sharing a room, and Bai Mashuai took him to a nearby six-star hotel owned by his uncle, where they stayed for free and saved two rooms' worth of money, splitting the cost evenly.
