The Art Committee held a meeting to discuss whether to keep He Shui's role. During the meeting, Ding Kemang suggested that Tong Hua should play Tao Tao instead of the previously recommended Tong Hua. However, Vice Captain Song, who had always supported Tong Hua, changed his mind and spoke out in favor of keeping He Shui. He even criticized Song Yang. After a vote, He Shui was replaced, but Vice Captain Song received thanks from He Shui for speaking up for her.

Now, Ding Kemang is in charge of the artistic direction of the play "Father and Son," with Song Yang as the main attraction and He Shui being replaced. Luo Xia believes that the future is bright and even decides that they could win an award. He asks Ding Kemang and Jiang Ye to fill out the award application form, believing that the success of "Father and Son" will also be his way to become a regular member.

Tan Xiaoxin uses shopping as an excuse to meet Ding Momo. She believes that Ding Momo must have used some underhanded means to win over Zhan Zuodi. This angers Ding Momo, who confronts Tan Xiaoxin and is subsequently kicked out of the car.

Zhan Zuodi has his own ideas about "Father and Son." He is dissatisfied with only Song Yang being the main attraction and decides to bring in Chen Jiangge to play the male lead. This means that Ding Kemang's role will be replaced by Chen Jiangge. Despite Ding Momo's insistence that the current male lead has been performing for a long time, Zhan Zuodi insists on a strong partnership and decides to replace him.

Ding Momo tells An Lun about this, and he understands her frustration. He also knows that Ding Kemang has not been able to perform in satisfactory work in his theatrical career. Now, Ding Kemang wants to use "Father and Son" to end his acting career. Ding Momo is very distressed because she feels responsible for Ding Kemang's situation.

Song Yang learned about the role change from Kuang Nanshan and felt very worried, but Kuang Nanshan thought that Chen Jiangge's participation could help increase Song Yang's popularity, so she agreed to the role change.

When Luo Xia learned that Chen Jiangge was going to play in "Father and Son," he was very happy despite Ding Kemang's situation.

On the other hand, Ding Kemang and Ding Momo worked together to create the perfect version of the "Father and Son" script. Ding Momo wanted to tell Ding Kemang about the role change, but was interrupted by Jiang Ye who suddenly appeared.

Ding Momo heard about the bet on performance from An Lun and agreed to extend the bet time with a clear separation of public and private matters.

Tong Hua accidentally learned about the role change from Song Yang and then accidentally mentioned it to Jiang Ye, who immediately went to find Luo Xia. Jiang Ye believed that Luo Xia's actions were immoral and unfair. Despite Luo Xia's excuses, Jiang Ye pointed out Ding Kemang and Ding Momo's efforts on the script and believed that even if the director was changed, Ding Kemang should not be replaced.

In the rehearsal room, Ding Momo saw Ding Kemang and Song Yang rehearsing together. Seeing Ding Kemang carefully teaching Song Yang, Ding Momo felt uncomfortable and left alone. She then secretly watched from outside and saw Ding Kemang's waist injury relapse during filming, making her even more upset. Ding Momo waited outside and was unhappy that Song Yang knew about the role change but still used Ding Kemang to rehearse with him. Song Yang could only express his own distress.

Soon, it was the first rehearsal of "Father and Son." Ding Momo, who had hoped for a turning point, received news from An Lun that the contract had been finalized and was about to be signed, which made her very disappointed.
