Ding Momo met Ding Kemang at the door and told him indirectly during their walk that Chen Jiangge agreed to play the father in "Father and Son". Although Ding Kemang was upset, he did not show it and comforted himself with the influence of Chen Jiangge and Song Yang that could make the play a success. Ding Momo knew that Ding Kemang was upset and told him that Luo Xia and Jiang Ye knew about it but had not told him yet. Seeing Ding Kemang still forcing a smile, Ding Momo felt very sad.

The next day, after a busy day, Ding Kemang remembered what Ding Momo and Jiang Ye had said and felt disappointed despite his years of effort. Ding Momo felt very sorry for Ding Kemang, but she also knew that life and work were separate and it was impossible to succeed every time. Because Ding Kemang's role was replaced, Jiang Ye found Luo Xia and suggested giving up the role. Luo Xia comforted Jiang Ye by saying that it was necessary for the market demand.

When Ding Momo accompanied Grandma Qin, she talked about Grandma Qin's young days and knew that Grandma Qin liked to wear cheongsam. During their conversation, Ding Momo learned that Song Yang was highly regarded by Grandma Qin.

At night, Ding Momo contacted Song Yang about Grandma Qin. Since Song Yang was off the next day, he invited Ding Momo to visit Grandma Qin together. They even made a cheongsam for Grandma Qin. Grandma Qin, wearing the cheongsam, danced with Song Yang and Ding Momo while singing on the side. Grandma Qin remembered her story with her lover and passed away a few days later, dedicating her life to the stage. Ding Momo and Song Yang were both very sad to hear the news.

An Lun noticed that Ding Momo was feeling upset and after asking her, he found out that she was sad for Qin Grandma. Ding Momo learned about Tan Xiaoxin's resignation and suggested that she leave as well, but An Lun told her that Tan Xiaoxin had already left. Ding Momo also told An Lun that she needed to stay in the theater group for a while because of Chen Jiangge's situation.

Before Chen Jiangge arrived at the theater group, Ding Kemang continued to rehearse, but he was stopped by Luo Xia because he was too emotional. Ding Kemang was still trapped in his emotions and could only stop on his own. Seeing this, Jiang Ye comforted Ding Kemang about the graduation play, but Ding Kemang unexpectedly asked for a divorce. Jiang Ye suspected that Ding Kemang was having an affair and was disappointed in herself. After questioning him, she left feeling sad.

Seeing that Ding Kemang had problems during rehearsal, Luo Xia believed that it was because Ding Momo told him about the role change, but Ding Momo accused Luo Xia of betraying Ding Kemang. Ding Momo no longer wanted to deal with "Father and Son" and decided to let it develop freely.

Luo Xia took the initiative to find Ding Kemang and told him that the contract had not been signed yet and everything was uncertain. He then brought up Ding Kemang's emotional issues during rehearsals. Ding Kemang believed that he needed time to accept reality.

Because Ding Kemang wanted to divorce her, Jiang Ye asked Ding Momo if she knew about it. Ding Momo learned from Jiang Ye that she was ready to retire and after completing one more work, she would take Ding Kemang abroad to start a new life.

Meanwhile, Luo Xia learned from Ding Kemang that he wanted to divorce Jiang Ye and was overwhelmed.
