Ding Momo met with Jiang Ye, who already knew that Ding Kemang wanted to divorce her. Jiang Ye accused Ding Momo for not telling her about it. Ding Momo learned from Jiang Ye that Ding Kemang felt that she looked down on him, which made Jiang Ye feel very upset. Ding Momo realized that what Ding Kemang said was true based on Jiang Ye's treatment of him and her decision to choose herself over him in the role they were both competing for. Jiang Ye felt helpless and left.

After dealing with He Shui, Song Bang went to Luo Xia's office, but Luo Xia was preoccupied with Ding Kemang's troubles. Song Bang accidentally learned about Ding Kemang's divorce with Jiang Ye from Luo Xia and was surprised. He later told He Shui about it. He Shui, who already had some grievances with Jiang Ye, immediately had an idea since Ding Kemang was involved.

Ding Kemang and Jiang Ye met again and talked about their divorce. Although Jiang Ye was very sad about what Ding Kemang said, she agreed to it because she was about to start filming a new movie and did not want the media to exploit her divorce. She asked Ding Kemang to keep their divorce a secret, and he agreed.

Tang Xiaoxin invited Ding Momo to dinner, apologized to her, and even suggested that they be friends, which confused Ding Momo.

Jiang Ye starred in the movie "When the Story Becomes an Accident," but rumors of her divorce with Ding Kemang surfaced during its airing. When faced with media inquiries, Jiang Ye denied it, even when they showed her a post from a blogger named Yu Meiren. After the event, Jiang Ye told Ding Kemang about the incident, and he suspected that He Shui was behind the post. To help Jiang Ye, Ding Kemang suggested that she hold a press conference. Although Jiang Ye initially thought that Ding Kemang was mocking her, she eventually decided to do it and contacted the producer. Ding Kemang promised to help her with the press conference. Meanwhile, as the replacement actor, Ding Kemang devoted himself to training Song Yang to take over Chen Jiangge's role.

Kong Liang, who was waiting for a call from Kuang Nanshan's company, could not get in touch with them, so he asked Song Yang. The next day, before the rehearsal at the drama troupe, Jiang Ye saw He Shui and retorted when she saw her making fun of her divorce and age.

While helping Song Yang rehearse, Ding Kemang hurt his back and was sent to the hospital. After an examination, he was discharged and went home to recover. On the way home, Jiang Ye mocked Luo Xia, thinking that he and Ding Kemang had planned all of this, including her divorce.
