When Ding Momo was at home, she asked Ding Kemang for his understanding of her approach. Ding Kemang comforted her and reminded her not to act alone. After meeting with Chen Jiangge, Ding Momo had a conversation with him and accepted his suggestion. When she returned from the discussion, she met Song Yang and told him about the smooth conversation, but she refused his dinner invitation in a hurry to go home and revise the script. However, she invited Song Yang to have dinner together the next day, which made him very happy.

When Song Yang received a call from Kuang Nanshan asking about Chen Jiangge's situation, he told the truth and learned from Kuang Nanshan that they were going to attend an event with Su Xiaotang tomorrow. He originally wanted to refuse, but was forced to agree because of the contract.
