While drinking with Luo Xia, Ding Kemang talked about many things that happened in the past, and later they discussed Ding Kemang's situation with Jiang Ye. After hearing Luo Xia's opinion of him being too self-disciplined, Ding Kemang asked for advice and found it reasonable.

Worried about Ding Momo, Song Yang went to look for her but was stopped by Xiao Li. She persuaded him to think about his future and Ding Momo's safety, so Song Yang had no choice but to return. He later contacted Ding Momo, expressing his longing for her, and she said she understood the company and was willing to cooperate, which touched Song Yang deeply.

After eating the sour and spicy pig feet that Ding Momo brought, Jiang Ye knew that Tan Xiaoxin was now in the live-streaming industry. She was inspired by Tan Xiaoxin and also had the idea of trying to tell stories online.

Looking at Jiang Ye's photo, He Shui felt guilty about influencing Jiang Ye's marriage with Ding Kemang. Song Bang discovered He Shui and talked to her about Song Yang's situation, as well as Ding Kemang's divorce and daughter being attacked online, which made He Shui very sad.

The next day, He Shui met Luo Xia while he was walking his dog. Luo Xia expressed his desire to be with her, but she rejected him because of her emotional baggage.

After hearing Ding Kemang's story about Su Shi and Fo Yin, Song Yang understood the meaning and was deeply moved.

Out of jealousy that Kuang Nanshan valued Song Yang, Kong Liang set a trap to frame Song Yang for soliciting prostitution. However, Song Yang was delayed and did not enter the room where Kong Liang had arranged the setup. He saw the police arresting the woman in the room and found out that someone had reported him for having a woman in his room.

Kong Liang was gloating over the fact that assistant Xiao Wang couldn't reach Song Yang when he received a call from him. Despite Kong Liang's explanations, Song Yang knew his intentions and warned him without explicitly stating it.

He Shui found Ding Kemang and Luo Xia and confessed her false accusation against Jiang Ye, shocking the two men.

Ding Kemang remembered what Jiang Ye had said before and realized that he had misunderstood her, feeling guilty.

The next day, Luo Xia saw He Shui looking for him while walking his dog and immediately left with the dog.
