Ding Momo, who was about to go on a business trip, learned that Jiang Ye was going to start live streaming while having breakfast, and she was very supportive.

Ding Kemang had been dragging on the divorce matter, but Jiang Ye decided to divorce him as soon as possible. After breakfast, she went to the law firm and decided to sue for divorce.

On the day of the new drama reading, Ding Kemang met Luo Xia, who had come to apologize to Jiang Ye for feeling guilty, and he also felt remorse for not communicating with Jiang Ye. Luo Xia decided to apologize to Jiang Ye with Ding Kemang and later attended Jiang Ye's celebration dinner, where Jiang Ye was recognized to still have feelings for Ding Kemang, but he did not think so.

Jiang Ye believed that He Shui was not a bad person, and was genuinely fond of Luo Xia, which was why she hid some information from the investigation team. Later, Song Yang asked Jiang Ye if she regretted divorcing Ding Kemang, and after hearing her answer, Song Yang shared his own story of regret about missing his last chance to talk to his police father because he went to an internet cafe instead. Jiang Ye was moved by Song Yang's story, and he took the opportunity to ask her to give Ding Kemang another chance.

Ding Kemang learned from Song Yang's phone call that Jiang Ye was coming home, so he personally cooked her favorite dishes. When Jiang Ye went home to get her things, she saw that Ding Kemang had fixed her grandfather's broken purple clay teapot, which touched her heart and led her to sit down and chat with him.
