Synopsis
Set in the 1990s, the story unfolds in a large factory in the western suburbs of the northeastern iron city. An orphan, Zhang Xiaoman, grows up in the care of the factory’s families, becoming a beloved figure in "Iron West City." Alongside the bold and courageous Yan Xiaodan and the steady and composed Xia Lei, he spends his spirited youth in Iron West City.
As the wave of economic transformation sweeps in, this generation of young people leaves home, only to eventually return in response to the call of their hearts, creating a moving story of unchanging friendship and different paths leading to the same destination.
