Hao Jun told Qi Sile that she only heard half of the conversation that day. Qin Tian bribed Wu, the assistant at Maolin, to ignore the payment reminder letter that Song Haoyu requested. He also called reporters when the workers gathered at Maolin to demand their wages, intending to escalate the situation and make Song Haoyu unlucky. Upon hearing about the wage dispute, Song Haoyu immediately intervened, stating that the finance department had already arranged it. However, the angry workers didn't listen to his explanation and threatened to rush forward and attack him. Qi Sile, who heard about the incident at the store, rushed forward and asked the workers not to get agitated. She believed that someone as responsible as Song Haoyu must have been misunderstood. However, the workers didn't listen and impulsively threw a bucket at Qi Sile. Song Haoyu, in order to protect her, got hit by the bucket and cut his hand, causing it to bleed. Qi Sile was deeply distressed and with teary eyes, she applied medicine to Song Haoyu's wound. Unable to resist his feelings, Song Haoyu kissed Qi Sile, which made her feel that their relationship had progressed. However, Li Xin wondered if it was true love and suggested observing and verifying, causing Qi Sile to become uncertain again.
