Hao Jun found Li Xin's ex-boyfriend and asked him for an answer. But the ex-boyfriend never thought about going back to find Li Xin because he felt ashamed to face people. When he saw a contract in front of him, his mind went blank. It was only after signing the contract that he realized he had to abandon Li Xin. Therefore, he never dared to find Li Xin. Hao Jun asked the ex-boyfriend to give Li Xin an answer because she was still waiting for him. The ex-boyfriend gave Hao Jun a record of the song he sang in the bar.
While walking on the street, Li Xin recalled the moments when Hao Jun made her heart flutter. She thought she had rejected Hao Jun so many times that he wouldn't come to find her again, but he did. Hao Jun learned that Li Xin still had feelings for him but was waiting for her ex-boyfriend's answer. He told Li Xin everything the ex-boyfriend said and gave her the record. Li Xin realized that this meant closure and asked Hao Jun why he did it. Hao Jun did many things for Li Xin, just like her ex-boyfriend did. He believed that Li Xin's feelings for him were closely related to her ex-boyfriend, but he didn't care. He just wanted Li Xin to let go of the past.
Hao Jun gathered his courage and asked Li Xin to let go of the past. Li Xin didn't respond, which disappointed Hao Jun. He thought he still couldn't get into Li Xin's heart. But unexpectedly, Li Xin hugged Hao Jun and told him that she liked him not because he did the same things as her ex-boyfriend. This made Hao Jun ecstatic, and he immediately embraced Li Xin and went home with her. They passionately kissed at the doorstep, but their neighbor happened to come downstairs, and Li Xin worried about losing face. She quickly pulled Hao Jun into the house, and they continued what they were doing.
Jin Xichen met with Qi Sile, and Qi Sile couldn't help but speculate on the reason why Jin Xichen wanted to meet her. She suspected that Jin Xichen wanted her to leave Song Haoyu. But to her surprise, Jin Xichen proposed that Qi Sile design a brooch for her after learning that Qi Sile didn't know anything about Song Haoyu's past. Qi Sile directly asked Jin Xichen why she didn't choose other experienced designers, and Jin Xichen said she wanted to be lucky enough to marry Song Haoyu by getting close to Qi Sile. Qi Sile declined Jin Xichen's offer, citing the need to go through Tong Luoqi to take on new projects.
Song Haoyu was alone, recalling the time when Jin Xichen accompanied him through the days of losing his parents. He couldn't help but feel complex because she chose to go abroad to study in order to stand beside him. Qi Sile once blamed Song Haoyu for loving her but not confessing the truth, which made Song Haoyu introspect. He thought of Hao Jun's advice to be honest and immediately took his clothes and drove to find Qi Sile.
Qi Sile reported the incident of Jin Xichen asking her to design a brooch to Tong Luoqi. Tong Luoqi knew that Jin Xichen was using the same old trick and looked down on her. She didn't want to take on that project. However, Qi Sile felt that since Jin Xichen had come to her, she couldn't lose face, so she convinced Tong Luoqi to accept the project.
Song Haoyu called Qi Sile, and Tong Luoqi immediately knew that Song Haoyu came to pick up Qi Sile. She approved Qi Sile's departure without any jealousy. Instead, she had a smile on her face, indicating that she truly considered Qi Sile as a friend. Song Haoyu took Qi Sile for a walk, gathered his courage, and told her that Jin Xichen is not Song Xingchen's biological mother. To his surprise, Qi Sile already knew. Song Haoyu revealed that Song Xingchen is his brother's child, and Qi Sile revealed that Qi Zixuan is not her own child but her sister's child. Song Haoyu thought about his brother's accident and concluded that Qi Sile's sister was implicated because of his brother. He didn't mention that Qi Zixuan is his brother's child and planned to find another opportunity to talk about it.
Qi Sile and Song Haoyu confessed to each other, and there were no more grudges between them. They shared an intimate kiss. Song Haoyu worried that the day when Qi Zixuan's identity would be exposed, Qi Sile would be angry. So he asked Qi Sile to promise him that she would never leave him, no matter what happens. Qi Sile agreed.
That night, Qi Sile proactively told Song Haoyu about Jin Xichen asking her to design a brooch. Seeing Qi Sile's determined eyes, Song Haoyu remembered the courage she had to break everything when she wanted to go to work. As the manager of the company, he always wanted to do his best, and he admired Qi Sile's character. Qi Sile stared at Song Haoyu with bright eyes, and Song Haoyu couldn't resist. The two soon embraced passionately.
