Grandfather knew that Qi Sile couldn't let go of the matter concerning Qisi Tian. He believed that Song Haochen had caused Qisi Tian's death and asked Song Haoyu to bring a locked box from his room. Inside the box were chat records. Qi Sile looked at the chat records and learned that Song Haochen was willing to marry to give Qisi Tian a home. However, Qisi Tian used the unborn child as a bargaining chip for money, not only demanding from Song Haochen but also calling grandfather for money. After grandfather had a bad experience, he became cautious and recorded their conversation. So the recording of Qisi Tian using the child as a threat to extort money from grandfather was saved. Qi Sile felt extremely guilty after listening to it. However, what she didn't expect was that Qisi Tian was not the one who killed Song Haochen. It was actually Qisi Tian who had caused Song Haochen's death. Grandfather never wanted to mention this matter because he didn't want to make the living suffer. He understood that the Qi family had lost a daughter and didn't want Song Haoyu to know the truth and seek revenge on the Qi family.
Qi Sile, who was already pregnant, experienced intense emotional fluctuations and suddenly fainted. When she woke up, she found friends, children, relatives, and her husband by her bedside. Her heart was instantly filled, and she smiled with tears. After Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan bid farewell to Qi Sile, they went to school. Qin Tian knew that Qi Sile had learned everything about Qisi Tian, including her extortion for money using the child and her role in Song Haochen's death. He believed that Qi Sile couldn't stay in the Song family and suggested that she leave with the child and be with him. However, Qi Sile flatly refused. The desperate Qin Tian took advantage of the time when school was over and abducted Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan, taking them to the place where he and Qisi Tian used to live, which held many memories for him. While Song Xingchen was enjoying himself with Qi Zixuan, Qin Tian kept saying that their mother was there, but they didn't see her. Suspicion grew in Song Xingchen's mind, so he quietly opened his phone watch while Qin Tian was holding Qi Zixuan and reminiscing about the past.
Upon learning that Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan had been taken away by Qin Tian, Qi Sile frantically called him. Although Qin Tian answered, he said he wanted to introduce the children to their real mother, which frightened Qi Sile. After that, Qin Tian turned off his phone, and Qi Sile couldn't contact him anymore. Song Haoyu and Qi Sile searched all the places Qin Tian usually went to but found nothing. They thought of the welfare institution and hurried there with Qi Sile. When Song Xingchen's phone watch turned on, Song Haoyu confirmed that they were there, so he sped up and rushed to the location. Qin Tian noticed Song Xingchen's action and confiscated his watch. Qi Zixuan also realized something was wrong and wanted to take her watch, but Qin Tian snatched it first. Realizing that they were exposed, Qin Tian planned to take Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan away. Knowing they had to stay there and wait for Song Haoyu to find them, Song Xingchen said he wanted to play there, and Qi Zixuan, thinking that Qin Tian's mother would worry about him being out so late, hit a nerve. This made Qin Tian look fierce, and Song Xingchen quickly protected Qi Zixuan behind him. This action made Qin Tian snap out of it, so he took the two children to the former site of the welfare institution. By the time Song Haoyu and Qi Sile arrived at the cabin, it was empty, with only two abandoned watches left behind.
Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan looked at the desolate welfare institution and were too scared to go inside, but Qin Tian ignored their thoughts and forcefully took them to the rooftop, where he had many memories with Qisi Tian when he was a child. Qin Tian seemed to see the ten-year-old Qisi Tian smiling at him, and this place was filled with memories of him and Qisi Tian. He wanted Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan to commemorate Qisi Tian just like him. However, Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan had no knowledge of their true identities. Qin Tian became increasingly insane and refused to let them go home, causing the two children to cry out of fear. Song Haoyu and Qi Sile arrived and, seeing the frightened children, worried that Qin Tian might harm them, so they kept their distance. Qi Sile told the scared children that Qin Tian was just playing a game with them, and although the game took a little longer, Song Xingchen and Qi Zixuan behaved well. Qi Zixuan believed Qi Sile's words, stopped crying, and even leaned close to Qi Tian, thanking him for his company. Qin Tian remembered Qisi Tian telling him that harm is not love; only hugs are love. He realized his mistake and chose to let the two children return to the embrace of Song Haoyu and Qi Sile.
Qi Sile didn't want the children to see the harsh reality, so she asked Song Haoyu to take the children away first while she took out the recorded conversation. It was then that Qin Tian realized that Qisi Tian had always loved him, but she had merely seen Song Haochen as a source of money. Thus, his revenge over the years had become a joke.
