Since Zhang Fang began his wandering journey, Han Aizhen often found herself lost in thought. Sometimes, she would hold her guzheng and play it for an entire day. Everyone knew what was on her mind, but no one knew how to console her. Meanwhile, Ding Lao Xie continued recruiting disciples, and A Jing, along with a few other small-time troublemakers, became his apprentices, spending their days diligently training.

Before the great battle began, Qing Cai and Gan Pu would often swing together. They reminisced about swinging at the villa not long ago, thinking at the time that they were about to part ways forever. However, before Yin Niang died, she forgave Gan Pu, giving them a chance to treasure the present moments. Sometimes, Gao Yin and Gan Pu would chat. Gan Pu asked Gao Yin if she hoped Wang Yishao would become king.
