Five years ago, Feng Datou was a deserter. He relied on a few scattered soldiers under his command to help kill people on the rivers and lakes. He deliberately created an opportunity to save Sun Liguo and gained his trust. However, he discovered that Sun Liguo was wealthy, so he killed Sun Liguo's entire family and spread rumors that Sun's house was haunted, causing panic among the people. Feng Datou wanted to take the treasure, but he didn't expect that Liu Town Chief would arrange for Mr. Zhou to stay there. Feng Datou then instructed Ding Haichuan to kill Mr. Zhou's entire family, but Mei Niang managed to escape.
Feng Datou was not convinced and demanded that Huo Qing provide evidence. Xing Yi walked up to him with a smile, and Feng Datou was furious, saying that he was blind to believe Xing Yi. Xing Yi had someone bring the Big Tiger brothers, who admitted that Feng Datou had asked them to kill Mr. Zhou's family and paid them a gold bar. With the evidence and witnesses, Feng Datou had nothing to say and was taken away for a just trial.
Xing Yi prepared to leave with his suitcase, ready to complete a new mission. Huo Qing saw him off and handed him the pocket watch. The two hugged tightly, recalling every moment they fought side by side. They found it hard to part, and they reminded each other to stay safe for each other. They believed that the day Xing Yi completed his mission would be the day they reunited. Huo Qing said affectionately that she would wait for Xing Yi's triumphant return.
