The subordinates came to see the leader of the gang and reported that Xing Yi was dismissed and did not want to work in the government anymore. He wanted to join the gang. The cunning leader did not immediately agree, but instead ordered his subordinates to be careful. Selling national treasures and tobacco were not small matters. The gang leader Feng Datou also came and introduced himself as Zhao Lihong's subordinate from Beijing. After all the guests arrived, the banquet began. Everyone was having a great time and Meiniang felt uncomfortable with the scene. She and Xian Ge decided to go for a walk on the street and buy a gift for her father. They met Xing Yi in the painting studio. Meiniang posed as a model for the painter while Xing Yi bought clothes and left after the painting was done.
They came home very late and found that everyone in the house, including her father Mr. Zhou, had been killed. Meiniang cried bitterly and two assassins were about to attack her and Xian Ge, but luckily Xing Yi secretly followed and protected them. He took them to a safe house to stay temporarily. Huo Qing felt that the atmosphere at the banquet was strange and was worried about the safety of Mr. Zhou's family. She went back to the Zhou mansion with Yan Er and met Xing Yi, who told her that Mr. Zhou's family had been wiped out.
