Snowy Night Timeless Love Episode 28 Recap
> Snowy Night Timeless Love Recap
The Valley Master knew that Wei Fengxing was likely hesitant due to his own concerns and encouraged Huo Zhanbai to visit him in person. Now that Qiu Shuiyin had largely recovered, the Valley Master planned to depart after she fully regained her health. When Huo Zhanbai mentioned Xue Ziye, he suddenly recalled that the messenger Snow Hawk hadn’t returned, and he found himself longing to see Xue Ziye once more.
He spurred his horse back to Dingjian Pavilion, where the Pavilion Master praised him. Now was the opportune time to gather the Seven Swords and strike at Dingjian Pavilion. The Pavilion Master had information about Tong’s failed rebellion and a map of Yuan Yi Palace’s layout. As for the source of this intelligence, the Pavilion Master simply told them that all would be revealed upon arrival.
Huo Zhanbai had just three days to assemble the Seven Swords and decided to first head to Yangzhou. Snow Hawk arrived after his departure, bringing news that Xue Ziye had gone to Yuan Yi Palace, causing the Valley Master concern that she might be in danger, knowing that this was practically a death sentence.
Miao Feng led Xue Ziye to Kunlun, where his wounds had grown severe, yet he refused her treatment, insisting that she save her strength for Zhang Wujue’s recovery. He killed the driver they had just hired, then carried Xue Ziye into the entrance to Yuan Yi Palace. Xue Ziye, deeply grieved, was too late to stop him.
She felt heartbroken, knowing that saving a life took such painstaking effort, yet he could so easily end the life of a mere driver. Upon their return to Yuan Yi Palace, they learned of Tong’s failed rebellion and ran into Miao Huo. Noticing that Miao Feng’s smile had vanished, Miao Huo was puzzled, and Xue Ziye, with a cold expression, demanded to see Zhang Wujue.
Zhang Wujue summoned both Miao Feng and Xue Ziye, with Tong, chained beside him, accompanied by a fierce mastiff. The sight startled Xue Ziye, who looked on as Zhang Wujue ordered her to examine Tong to see if he was salvageable. As she approached, Tong warned her not to save him, calling himself a monster, just before Miao Feng struck him. In front of Xue Ziye, Zhang Wujue beat Tong further, and though she appeared calm, her fists clenched tightly.
Satisfied that she had no strong reaction to Tong, Zhang Wujue felt more at ease. He informed her that Tong would succumb to Shi Hun San in seven days, and when he was fully healed, he would kill her, reuniting the siblings in death. Miao Feng pleaded for Xue Ziye’s life, angering Zhang Wujue, who beat him as well. Bound by his injuries, Miao Feng didn’t dare retaliate.
Zhang Wujue feigned agreement to spare Xue Ziye’s life, concealing his true, ruthless intentions. Huo Zhanbai arrived in Yangzhou, seeking out Wei Fengxing with a hint of resentment. Wei Fengxing refused to join him, wanting only a peaceful life with the Valley Master and their child. Huo Zhanbai, however, insisted that family harmony could only be achieved after fulfilling their greater duty. Eventually, Wei Fengxing was persuaded to join the assault on Yuan Yi Palace.
The Seven Swords gathered, ready to sacrifice everything for the safety of the people. Xue Ziye planned to locate Tong’s whereabouts before acting further. One night, she attempted to sneak out, only to be stopped by Zhang Wujue’s orders confining her to the courtyard. Miao Shui offered to accompany her, enabling her departure, and pulled Xue Ziye aside to examine her palm.
Annoyed, Xue Ziye said she wished to rest, but Miao Shui brought up the massacre of Mo Family Village, an order once given by Zhang Wujue. She wasn’t concerned about Xue Ziye reporting her since she knew Xue Ziye was determined to find Tong. Miao Shui also revealed that Miao Feng, who now protected Xue Ziye at all costs, had once relentlessly hunted down both Xue Ziye and Xue Huai, a fact that Xue Ziye found bitterly ironic. Now, faced with the truth, Xue Ziye was unsure how to view Miao Feng.
