Xie Xuechen, Mu Xuanling, and Gao Qiumin discovered a secret space beneath Su Ningxi’s room. Gao Qiumin was astonished, saying she had no idea such a place existed under her mother’s room. Mu Xuanling speculated that Gao Fengxu had hidden this from her daughter as well. In the secret chamber, they found a bed with a hidden mechanism. Gao Qiumin and the others guessed that Su Ningxi might have been lying on this bed to nourish the Chaos Pearl.

However, Xie Xuechen suggested the truth might be even crueler—Su Ningxi might already be dead, and Gao Qiumin could have been using her mother’s corpse to warm the Chaos Pearl every time she came here. As they searched for clues in the chamber, they were completely unaware that people from the Mirror Flower Palace had arrived outside. The Mirror Flower Palace members intended to take A Bao and destroy Mingyue Manor.

A Bao was dragged into the forest, but her father suddenly appeared and killed the intruders from the Mirror Flower Palace. A Bao pleaded for him to reveal himself, but there was no response. In the Decaying Immortal Pavilion, the Pavilion Master and Nan Xuyue sat together. It turned out the two had known each other for a long time, and many previous events had been orchestrated by Nan Xuyue.

Meanwhile, Mu Xuanling and the others sensed that the secret chamber was beginning to collapse. As they hurried to escape, Mu Xuanling pushed Xie Xuechen, attempting to trap him inside. However, Xie Xuechen quickly caught up. Mu Xuanling declared that she had obtained clues about the Chaos Pearl and intended to report back to Sang Qi. Xie Xuechen refused to let her leave.

Mu Xuanling proposed that Xie Xuechen join her in the Dark Abyss, claiming that with his strength, he could defeat Sang Qi and become the new Lord. However, Xie Xuechen replied that he knew Mu Xuanling didn’t want to live such a life. Mu Xuanling dismissed his words, pushed him aside, and prepared to leave. Xie Xuechen drew his sword and injured her. A Bao arrived and touched Mu Xuanling’s wound, getting her blood on her hands.

She then transferred the blood to the blood sacrifice, which immediately revealed the vision Gao Qiumin had seen. Fu Lansheng explained that only blood from close relatives could activate the blood sacrifice. He then revealed that Mu Xuanling and Gao Qiumin were sisters. Both women simultaneously denied wanting to acknowledge the relationship. To verify further, they went inside and tested again. When Mu Xuanling’s blood was applied, it showed what Gao Qiumin had seen.

Fu Lansheng defended his ritual, stating that while they could doubt him, they couldn’t question the reliability of his family’s artifacts. To prove it, he applied his own blood, revealing a vision of Fu Yuanting. At this point, they believed the blood sacrifice was authentic.

Xie Xuechen suggested they needed to go to the Mirror Flower Palace to question Su Ningzhen for more answers. Meanwhile, Su Ningzhen ordered Zai Xi to find Gao Qiumin, stating that even if she was in the Dark Abyss, they must bring her back. Just then, Gao Qiumin returned with Mu Xuanling and the others. Xie Xuechen confronted Su Ningzhen, asking how many children Su Ningxi had. Su Ningzhen became furious, accusing him of insulting her sister’s honor.

Xie Xuechen explained that they had discovered a blood relation between Gao Qiumin and Mu Xuanling. Gao Qiumin recalled seeing a flash of light during her sister’s childbirth but admitted she hadn’t seen clearly. Su Ningzhen asked them to rest for the night, promising they would learn the truth the next day. Outside, Xie Xuechen reassured Mu Xuanling not to worry, saying everything would be clear tomorrow. Mu Xuanling dismissed his words, claiming she didn’t care.

However, Xie Xuechen saw through her facade and knew she deeply cared about whether she had any family, even if she refused to admit it. Elsewhere, Gao Qiumin noticed Su Ningzhen searching for something. She asked what Su Ningzhen was looking for and offered to help. Su Ningzhen asked if Gao Qiumin had seen Mu Xuanling at Mingyue Manor and mentioned a pattern on her forehead.

Su Ningzhen instructed Gao Qiumin to draw the pattern, and when she saw it, Su Ningzhen realized that the flash of light from that day was related to it. Gao Qiumin sat alone, lost in thought. Fu Lansheng approached her with some pastries to comfort her.
