Gao Qiumin was deeply saddened and told Fu Lansheng that she had always believed her father, Gao Fengxu, deeply loved her mother. However, she never expected things to turn out like this. Gao Qiumin admitted that she suspected Su Ningzhen had a significant secret and worried that if she and Mu Xuanling were truly blood relatives, she wouldn’t know how to face her. Fu Lansheng comforted her, saying that those who truly loved her would never leave her.

Gao Qiumin, surprised, remarked that Fu Lansheng was unexpectedly good at offering comfort. Fu Lansheng replied that they were friends. Gao Qiumin then shared that three people had told her they were her friends before. The first was Cui Wanwan, who turned out to be from the Decaying Immortal Pavilion and was ultimately killed by Su Ningzhen. The second was Mu Xuanling, who had also claimed to be her friend.

Fu Lansheng reassured her that he was her true friend, and the two sealed their bond with a handshake. Later, Su Ningzhen arranged a meeting with Gao Qiumin, Xie Xuechen, and Mu Xuanling at Xingchen Valley. She pointed to a flower nearby, explaining that it was called "Reunion Joy" and would turn black only when the blood of two relatives was dripped onto it.

She promised to reveal the truth on the condition that they agreed not to disclose it to anyone. Otherwise, she would remain silent. Mu Xuanling immediately agreed, but just as she stepped forward, Xie Xuechen pulled her back. He refused, stating that the flower Su Ningzhen mentioned was not "Reunion Joy" but "Autumn's Malice. " Although they looked identical, their spiritual essence was different.

Xie Xuechen explained that if blood was dripped onto "Autumn's Malice," it would bind the person to the flower in a lifelong servitude contract. Seeing her scheme exposed, Su Ningzhen dragged Gao Qiumin aside and began setting up an array, intending to kill Xie Xuechen and Mu Xuanling. Xie Xuechen warned her that if anything happened to him in the Mirror Flower Palace, she would also be implicated.

Gao Qiumin joined in, persuading Su Ningzhen that the Immortal Alliance would never let her off if Xie Xuechen were harmed. Su Ningzhen coldly retorted that no one needed to know and activated the array. Even the townsfolk outside could sense the disturbance. Meanwhile, Fu Lansheng noticed the commotion and realized that Su Ningzhen was attacking them. A Bao asked what they should do. Fu Lansheng explained that the array required direct sunlight to work and wouldn’t function without it.

He told A Bao to stay put while he went to rescue them. Back at the scene, Su Ningzhen’s spell continued to press against Xie Xuechen and Mu Xuanling, but suddenly, a massive shadow appeared in the sky, disrupting the array. Sang Qi appeared, demanding to know where Su Ningxi was. Su Ningzhen replied that Su Ningxi was already dead.

Sang Qi, furious, questioned her right to die and demanded to know where her body was, declaring that even in death, he would grind her bones to dust. Sang Qi, seething with anger, remarked that even after 20 years, he still despised the people of the Mirror Flower Palace. With that, he struck down Zai Xi and others with ease. Su Ningzhen, unable to resist, was gravely injured and spat blood.

Sang Qi then knocked Gao Qiumin to the ground, mocking Su Ningzhen for her supposed fondness for Gao Qiumin and threatening to kill her. Su Ningzhen cried out that Gao Qiumin was Su Ningxi’s child, but Sang Qi dismissed her, saying that Su Ningxi had betrayed him. Su Ningzhen clarified that Su Ningxi had never betrayed him and revealed that it was their master, Venerable Miaohua, who had disguised her as Su Ningxi to assassinate Sang Qi.

However, she failed and only managed to cut off one of his arms. Sang Qi, unfazed, argued that Gao Qiumin was still Su Ningxi and Gao Fengxu’s child. Su Ningzhen then revealed the shocking truth—Su Ningxi had already died before her marriage. She explained that Su Ningxi had the Yin-Yuan Mystic Physique, and even in death, Gao Fengxu didn’t spare her. He dripped his blood, infused with the Chaos Pearl, into her body to nourish it.

Ten months later, Su Ningxi’s body gave birth to a baby girl. Su Ningzhen declared that Mu Xuanling was the Chaos Pearl incarnate because the patterns on her face matched the Chaos Pearl’s markings. She urged Sang Qi to kill Mu Xuanling, claiming it would save Su Ningxi. Sang Qi, believing her, prepared to strike Mu Xuanling. Xie Xuechen stepped in to block him. At that moment, Nan Xuyue arrived just in time, taking Mu Xuanling away. Xie Xuechen and Sang Qi began a fierce battle.
