Although Xie Lingyun was the one who brought Shi Bujio, he was still kicked out of the room. While everyone was complaining and grumbling, Xie Lingyun believed he was the least deserving to be kicked out, yet he was still forced to leave. Still, he trusted that whatever Mo Xiao was doing, he had his own reasons.

Shi Bujio proposed that Mo Xiao inject spiritual power into Wu Chen's body, and then find snow lotus to use as medicine in order to save her. After channeling his spiritual power, Mo Xiao was set to find the snow lotus.

Everyone was worried about Mo Xiao going alone and insisted on following him, but since the snow lotus is a spiritual plant and might not appear if too many people went, they eventually agreed to let Mo Xiao go by himself. Xie Lingyun couldn’t understand why Mo Xiao would risk everything for Wu Chen. He tried to persuade Mo Xiao not to ruin his promising future for a woman.

But Mo Xiao revealed that the real reason he brought Shi Bujio was to help verify whether the person before them was truly Feng Lixue. In the end, it was confirmed—she was indeed Feng Lixue. As a child, Feng Lixue had a naturally cold constitution, and Feng Xingtian had sought out Shi Bujio. He placed an ice silkworm in Feng Lixue's body to help her live normally. However, as she grew older, the ice silkworm likely lost its effect.

This time, Shi Bujio came to retrieve the ice silkworm and confirmed he hadn't mistaken her identity. She was a patient he couldn't cure, and it became a lifelong regret. Zi Su, who had come to deliver something, happened to overhear this conversation between Xie Lingyun and Mo Xiao. After learning everything, Xie Lingyun no longer tried to stop him.

Mo Xiao once again used spiritual power to try and feed the snow lotus to Wu Chen, but Wu Chen's body rejected it. He had no choice but to place it in his mouth and feed it to her directly—just as Zi Su happened to witness the scene. Mo Xiao did not let everyone down. He successfully found the snow lotus and awakened Wu Chen.

But while watching over Wu Chen, Mo Xiao had a dream—he dreamt of Feng Lixue falling off a cliff. He used all his strength to pull her back up, only to find he had rescued Wu Chen. The two held each other tightly, but upon closer look, it was the masked woman. Mo Xiao woke up calling out Feng Lixue's name, which made Wu Chen curious—who exactly was Feng Lixue?

Ever since learning of Wu Chen’s identity, Zi Su had been deeply troubled, wondering how to best protect Mo Xiao. Zi Mu advised her not to pressure herself too much, but Zi Su’s heart wasn’t just burdened by the sense of protection—it also carried a vague jealousy. Zi Su went to Wu Chen and asked her to stay away from Mo Xiao, revealing she knew Wu Chen was actually Feng Lixue in disguise.

Just then, Murong Jing arrived with glutinous rice dumplings for Wu Chen, and only then did Zi Su leave. Wu Chen, however, didn’t tell Murong Jing what Zi Su had just said. Chong Guang soon learned of Wu Chen’s actions, and Mo Xiao also confirmed her identity. Wu Chen herself began to doubt who she really was. Chong Guang believed Mo Xiao couldn't have determined her identity as Feng Lixue solely based on Shi Bujio’s claim.

The more Mo Xiao wanted to uncover the truth, the more he had to go to Tongming Island. The masked woman sought out Po Yun and ordered him to spread the word that everything in Tianxing Secret Vault would be gifted to the world. Although Po Yun found it puzzling, he didn’t oppose the plan. After all, the vault could only be opened by Feng Lixue. When the time came, whoever could open it would be the true Feng Lixue.

The news reached Mo Xiao—Tongming Island would appear in three days. Mo Xiao was ready to go at any moment, but his mind kept flashing with images of the masked woman and Wu Chen. There couldn’t be two Feng Lixues in the world—there had to be something more. Mo Xiao deliberately gave Shi Bujio only five jars of wine through Xie Lingyun and said he would receive the other five only if he agreed to meet someone.

Shi Bujio, who loved wine like life itself, had no choice but to agree. Mo Xiao had people secretly gathering information but still couldn’t find out who Wu Chen’s master was. The masked woman had been taken away that day, but no one knew who took her. Mo Xiao ordered further investigation. Po Yun, seeing Mo Xiao bring Shi Bujio along, suspected that Mo Xiao was also questioning Feng Lixue’s identity. Wu Chen trained diligently every day.

Murong Jing was concerned and asked her about it. Wu Chen suddenly asked what it felt like to have a father. Murong Jing said having a father felt like being able to do anything without consequence. She also mentioned Feng Xingtian—though he wasn’t a good man, he searched the world for rare treasures for his daughter, making him a good father in her eyes.

From Murong Jing’s words, Wu Chen learned that Mo Xiao had gone to see the masked woman, which made her uneasy. She secretly slipped away while Murong Jing wasn’t looking. Mo Xiao brought Shi Bujio to meet the masked woman. The masked woman instantly knew Shi Bujio was there to expose her identity. She directly spoke of the treatment she received from Shi Bujio years ago. Shi Bujio was stunned to find that there were two Feng Lixues, overwhelmed by a sense of mystery and disbelief.
