The company boss, Wu Chengye, has always had a crush on Gui Xiao and has been trying to test her feelings. Gui Xiao clearly told him that she and Lu Yanchen had already reconciled and she hoped to maintain a friendship. Lu Yanchen calls Gui Xiao on the phone when he is free because it is a training base and there is only one landline connected to the outside. Gui Xiao coquettishly talks to him on the phone, but Lu Yanchen reminds her with a smile that the phone is being monitored, which makes Gui Xiao feel embarrassed. Lu Yanchen heard from other instructors at the training base that a coastal area belonging to Qining recently became a city and wanted to form its own special police detachment, but there was no bomb disposal team, so he wanted to borrow Lu Yanchen. However, Qin Mingyu stopped him and suggested that he go instead, not wanting Lu Yanchen to be too far away from home again. Qin Mingyu assured Lu Yanchen that he could handle the task. They joked around a bit as brothers, and finally, Qin Mingyu asked Lu Yanchen about Duan Rou's preferences, wanting to thank her for taking care of his son. Spring in Beijing has started with willow catkins floating in the air. Gui Xiao is suffering from allergies and decides to go to the hospital to get some medicine.
