Gui Xiao dreamt of sweet scenes from her college days with Lu Yanchen, followed by scenes of their fight and breakup. In her hospital bed, Gui Xiao frowned, only to realize upon waking up that it was all just a dream. Wiping away her tears, she saw the nurse taking care of her child, and a smile of happiness appeared on her face.

When Lu Yanchen fully regained consciousness, he met with Gui Yuanshan and Xu Yao. Gui Yuanshan did not hold back his admiration for Lu Yanchen, and Doctor Xu explained to Lu Yanchen how he and Gui Xiao met and their experience of going through difficulties together.

Lu Yanchen's teammates in Qin also came to visit him. Qin Mingyu mentioned that Lu Yanchen's injuries made him reflect a lot. He admitted that he had feelings for Duan Rou, but was too shy to confess. Lu Yanchen seized the opportunity and used Qin Mingyu's phone to call Duan Rou. Seeing this, Lu Yanchen's teammates immediately encouraged Qin Mingyu to confess. Unexpectedly, instead of confessing, Qin Mingyu proposed to Duan Rou directly and succeeded! Everyone cheered and celebrated this memorable day.

To celebrate, Lu Yanchen bought red envelopes for his teammates to give to Qin Mingyu, with the number "8726" written on them. These numbers represent the number of days Qin Mingyu has worked in the Qining special police brigade, as well as the number of days they have known each other.
