At the restaurant, Meng Xiaoshan asked Gui Xiao about her true feelings and learned that she was not just upset because her first love was getting married, but because they had reconnected in Qining, which made Meng Xiaoshan feel that the situation was more complicated than she thought. Meng Xiaoshan and her husband Qin Feng told Gui Xiao the truth about Lu Yanchen's marriage. In fact, Lu Yanchen's family owed a lot of money to Zhao Minshan's family over the years, and the two families had been in a long-standing dispute.
