The company arranged a dedicated car and driver for Xu Yanshi and also found accommodation for him, so once he settled down, he immediately immersed himself in work. In the evening, he received a call from Xiang Yuan and smiled slightly, agreeing to her small request. Before long, Gao Leng and the other two arrived because Xiang Yuan had "disturbed" Xu Yanshi. After they had eaten enough, they started playing Truth or Dare. While Xiang Yuan went to the restroom, You Zhi and the others used her phone to make a video call to Xu Yanshi. Thinking it was Xiang Yuan herself calling, Xu Yanshi playfully unbuttoned a few buttons of his collar. However, he was met with surprised faces on the other end of the phone, so he calmly buttoned up again. Chen Shu took the phone and told Xu Yanshi that a man had asked Xiang Yuan for her WeChat.

When Xiang Yuan returned from the restroom, she quickly took back her phone and had a brief conversation with Xu Yanshi before hanging up. She felt happy and had a blissful smile on her face. Chen Shu needed to talk to Lu Zong about work and needed a colleague from the technical department to accompany her. Xiang Yuan checked and found that only Gao Leng was available in the afternoon. Chen Shu didn't mind, and it was this opportunity that allowed her to see another side of Gao Leng. Despite his usually carefree attitude, Gao Leng was quite impressive when he was serious about his work. After drinking a lot, Gao Leng received praises from the clients for his abilities. Lu Zong asked the driver to take Chen Shu and Gao Leng back. On the way, Gao Leng pretended to be nauseous, interrupting Lu Dong's attempt to extract information about Xu Yanshi from Chen Shu.

Xiang Yuan accidentally sent a message meant for Xu Yanshi to the company group chat, causing embarrassment. As soon as Xu Yanshi saw it, he immediately booked a flight for the weekend and bought theater tickets for a play Xiang Yuan liked. Xiang Yuan knew it was from Xu Yanshi but pretended not to know and posted on her social media. Lu Dong immediately arranged for someone to get a ticket next to hers. Lu Junliang, representing Aoxiang Airlines, attended the dinner and saw Xu Yanshi there. When Lin Kairui went out to take a phone call, Lu Junliang no longer held back and launched a verbal attack on Xu Yanshi. When Lin Kairui returned from the call, he tried to mediate the situation, but Lu Junliang insisted that Xu Yanshi bow down and admit that he was inferior to him and acknowledge that he was a convict.

Before Xu Yanshi could speak, Lin Kairui stood up for him, causing the dinner to end on a sour note. Afterwards, Aoxiang Airlines stated that they would no longer cooperate with Kaisheng, so Xu Yanshi decided to continue the development and improve accuracy. He led a team of technicians and worked for several days but couldn't break through the challenge, so he had to postpone the weekend date with Xiang Yuan. After staying up for several nights, Xu Yanshi finally solved the problem of drone flight accuracy. He flew back to Xi'an, planning to surprise Xiang Yuan, but to his surprise, Xiang Yuan arrived late, and the person sitting next to him was unexpectedly Lu Dong. Xu Yanshi felt quite frustrated watching this scene and left during the intermission. Outside, he bumped into Xiang Yuan, who had no idea why he was angry.

Gao Leng was at the police station, and the staff there called Xiang Yuan. Xu Yanshi temporarily put aside his displeasure and went with Xiang Yuan to the police station to pick up Gao Leng. After the police officers explained, they found out that Gao Leng had bought a new car and had kindly turned on the headlights to illuminate a girl walking alone at night, scaring her. The misunderstanding was resolved, and Gao Leng drove his new car home.
