Just as Ye Dingzhi was about to succumb to inner demons during his practice, his master appeared in time and trapped him under a bell, allowing Ye Dingzhi to regain his consciousness. The Grand Eunuch believed Baili Dongjun was a threat—if they couldn’t use him, they should destroy him.

After returning from the palace, Xiao Xie seemed dazed and later told his subordinates that if they succeeded this time, he might become the emperor. Xiao Xie was ready to fight to the death. Baili Dongjun was still confined by his father in the place where his master used to live. Baili Dongjun told Yue Yao that one day, he would help Ye Dingzhi take Yi Wenjun back.

As long as Yi Wenjun wanted to leave, he and Ye Dingzhi would risk their lives to rescue her. Meanwhile, in Tianwaixian, Wuxiang received word that the time had come and more strength was needed. Wuxiang ordered his subordinate Zhong Feizhan to go to Tianqi City and bring Yi Wenjun out to meet Ye Dingzhi, saying it would be a very romantic event.

The Grand Eunuch arranged for two masters to leave, and Zhong Feizhan told them their mission was to help Ye Dingzhi, who had a natural martial talent, reunite with Yi Wenjun. The two masters informed the Grand Eunuch, who then personally met Zhong Feizhan. Knowing that Zhong Feizhan was Wuxiang's right-hand man, they struck a deal. Yue Qing learned of Wuxiang’s plan to assist Ye Dingzhi and hoped that Ye Dingzhi would return to Tianwaixian. Despite giving birth to a child, Yi Wenjun remained dispirited, and most of her maids were dismissed by her. Luo Qingyang, concerned after hearing this, came to visit Yi Wenjun. Seeing her melancholic state, he suggested visiting her son, Xiao Yu. After visiting the child, Luo Qingyang prepared to leave, but a servant delivered snacks.

Luo Qingyang immediately noticed that the person wasn’t from the palace and drew his sword. The person explained that they had come on behalf of Ye Dingzhi to rescue Yi Wenjun. To prove their authenticity, they recited words Ye Dingzhi had once said to Yi Wenjun. Moved by this, Yi Wenjun rushed out from behind the curtains. Luo Qingyang, seeing this, asked if Yi Wenjun was willing to leave, and upon her confirmation, he helped her escape.

Soon, Yi Bu learned that his daughter had been taken, so he sent people to kill the group. However, Tianwaixian was well-prepared, and Yi Bu’s subordinates were no match for them. Yi Bu personally came to demand that Yi Wenjun return, but this time she refused to listen to her father. Along the way, Yi Wenjun was protected.

Xiao Ruofeng was furious upon learning of Yi Wenjun's abduction, but Xiao Ruofeng advised his brother that now wasn’t the time for drastic action. The best they could do was to pretend that Yi Wenjun had fallen ill. Xiao Ruofeng was angry, believing that they should have killed Ye Dingzhi earlier. Xiao Ruofeng noted that someone powerful must be aiding Ye Dingzhi.

At that moment, Yi Bu arrived and said he had a chance to stop Yi Wenjun, but was intercepted by two highly skilled martial artists. They were remnants of Beique, and Ye Dingzhi’s father had overseen the great Beique project. These men were once under General Ye's command. After hearing this, Xiao Ruofeng decided to send Lei Mengsha to handle the situation. Yue Yao handed the martial techniques of Beique to Baili Dongjun, hoping that he could rescue her father. She longed to leave Beili, missing him dearly. Baili Dongjun reassured her, saying that no matter what happened, he would always be by her side.
