The final trial was crucial for A Yin, filled with extreme danger. With her current soul strength, it was highly likely she wouldn't withstand it. Unfortunately, she happened to see Gu Jin at this critical moment, though she remained in invisibility, avoiding a direct encounter with him.

Hong Yi spent a thousand years in the mortal realm, accompanied by Yan Shuang. He witnessed the flourishing days of the Peacock Clan and the repeated struggles of the Eagle Clan. With the Eagle King planning to step down, he sent someone to fetch his daughter to assume the throne. However, Yan Shuang couldn't bear to part with Hong Yi and begged her uncle for more time. Hong Yi, still immersed in the pain of losing A Yin, drowned his sorrows in alcohol daily until he heard news from the Three Lives Stone. He immediately rushed to the Ghostly Mingshi Realm.

Upon hearing the conversation between the Three Lives Stone and Hong Yi, Gu Jin learned that A Yin's remaining soul was weak, and the final trial might be too much for her to endure. Despite the persuasions of others, offering a better fate for A Yin, she rejected their goodwill and jumped into the Pool of Reincarnation. Seeing this, Gu Jin reached out to grab A Yin, wanting to go through the cycles of reincarnation together, but A Yin let go of his hand.

Back on the Yellow Springs Road, Xiu Yan saw the gradually withering Snow Lotus and sighed, realizing A Yin's spiritual power was nearly depleted, and the situation was dire.
