While the other female sovereigns knelt in reverence, Hua Shu maintained a haughty demeanor, claiming that Feng Yuan and Yuan Qi had appointed her as the Acting Heavenly Emperor a thousand years ago, exempting her from treating the Phoenix Emperor as a subject. However, Feng Yin completely rejected this notion, arguing that even if she was appointed by the Acting Heavenly Emperor, she needed an imperial decree from the Heavenly Emperor. Feng Yin, using her identity as the Phoenix Emperor, intimidated Hua Shu. Since the Phoenix Clan historically received worship from the bird tribes, any disrespect from Hua Shu could lead to the Peacock Clan losing their position among the bird tribes because of her. With this warning, Hua Shu had no choice but to bow and acknowledge her allegiance. At that moment, Gu Jin descended from the heavens, and although Hua Shu was initially pleased, she soon realized that Gu Jin stood by Feng Yin's side. Gu Jin subtly reminded Hua Shu to distinguish between superior and inferior positions until Hua Shu took the initiative to apologize to Feng Yin.

Before the birthday banquet began, Gu Jin persistently clung to Feng Yin, causing her annoyance. While Gu Jin politely declined, Feng Yin arrived late, stunning everyone. It turned out that Feng Yin was the destined person for Gu Jin. Hua Shu, frustrated by miscalculations, witnessed Hong Yi and Lin Mo entering the hall, triggering memories of Emperor Lan Feng's death. Her anger flared, and before she could give orders, Gu Jin intervened.

At the same time, Feng Yin, Hong Yi, and even Gu Jin revisited an ancient case that affected both the immortal and demon realms. The immortals, unaware of the truth, accused the demon clan of killing many immortals at Daze Mountain and conspiring with the demonic tribe. As the last descendant of Daze Mountain, Qing Yi personally revealed the truth, with Yan Shuang as a witness, leaving Hua Shu with no room to argue. To reconstruct the entire process, Gu Jin used the Chaos Pearl, retracing any moment in time. Similarly, Hong Yi had refined the Burning Shadow Wheel, allowing him to locate Yan Shuang in different timelines. Yun Feng Zun and others demanded a reinvestigation, even though Hua Shu was reluctant, she had to go along with everyone's wishes.

Subsequently, Feng Yin, Gu Jin, and Hong Yi traveled through time to retrace the events based on the information left by Qing Lin, confirming that Feng Ming had switched the protective spirit arrows. Even the attack on Emperor Lan Feng was orchestrated by someone else. When everyone was about to see the appearance of the demonic entity, Peacock King intentionally disrupted the formation, causing the image to disappear. Separated in different timelines, Feng Yin witnessed Gu Jin's efforts to secure Nian Yun Mountain for her, Emperor Lan Feng's punishment on the Azure Dragon Platform, and even Gu Jin's sacrifice of a millennium-old flying beast's inner core, promising it to Hua Shu on behalf of their agreement. Feng Yin realized the extent of Gu Jin's efforts for her, making her emotions complicated. Eventually, Gu Jin and Hong Yi found Feng Yin, and together they broke free from the Chaos Pearl. With the truth revealed, Hua Shu wanted to execute Feng Ming for Emperor Lan Feng's revenge, but Feng Yin stopped her, believing that some aspects were still unclear and detained him temporarily. Gu Jin publicly declared that A Yin, Hong Yi, and Yun Feng Zun were innocent victims of the demonic conspiracy, clearing their names and comforting the spirits of Daze Mountain.

The birthday banquet concluded successfully. Hong Yi attempted to reconcile with Yan Shuang, but she remained indifferent. Feng Yin confronted Hua Shu privately, exposing her manipulation of A Yin through the Mirror of the World. Unapologetic, Hua Shu made Feng Yin laughable, claiming not to feel guilty. Feng Yin, for the sake of Emperor Lan Feng's face, chose not to reopen old grievances, hoping she wouldn't betray Emperor Lan Feng's deep affection.

Gu Jin noticed Feng Yin's injuries during the chaos and carefully healed her wounds. He also shared his speculation that the one who planted the Divine-Killing Flower wasn't Feng Ming. On the other side, Feng Ming, unwilling to die in vain, carefully recalled his encounters with the demonic tribe and realized that the Peacock King was suspicious. Unfortunately, before he could reveal the truth to Gu Jin and others, he was killed by demonic energy. Gu Jin and Feng Yin examined his wounds, confirming that the demonic cultivator had reached the realm of demigods.

Upon receiving a message, Hong Yi came to find Feng Yin and discovered that the Eagle King and his daughter were also present. To quickly expose the demonic cultivator, the Eagle King proposed a solution – the union of a demigod from either the immortal or demonic clan in marriage. This would attract divine light, making it impossible for the demonic cultivator to escape. The Eagle King suggested that Feng Yin and Hong Yi pretend to be a couple. Hong Yi readily agreed, but Feng Yin, observing Yan Shuang's changing emotions, was unwilling to consent. Eventually, with Yan Shuang's persuasion, she reluctantly agreed to use this method to find the demonic cultivator.
