Meanwhile, Jiang Shi intended to send Yu Qi a letter to arrange a meeting, but unexpectedly, the letter was intercepted and stolen by someone from the Nightingale Sect before it could reach Yu Qi. The person who took the letter was Liu Yan’er, who previously had interactions with Jiang Shi.

Liu Yan’er began to suspect Jiang Shi's identity after Jiang Shi once inquired about the Saintess and even impersonated Zhao Yu. Moreover, Jiang Shi also knew Liu Yan’er’s secret incense formula, which further deepened her suspicions. She suspected that Jiang Shi either had a connection to the Saintess or was the Saintess herself. The Nightingale Sect began to suspect that Jiang Shi and Yu Qi were secretly in love and that their feelings could potentially lead to betrayal.

Meanwhile, Jiang Shi was preparing to meet Yu Qi and was carefully selecting an outfit with her maid, A Man. That same night, Long Dan discovered the letter that Jiang Shi intended to send to Yu Qi in Liu Yan’er’s room. Based on the letter’s contents, Long Dan deduced that the Nightingale Sect was planning a major operation that night.

Yu Qi, upon seeing the handwriting, immediately recognized it as Jiang Shi’s. Long Dan suspected that Jiang Shi was the Saintess from Nanwu, but Yu Qi believed that there was more to the story and that Jiang Shi had her reasons. Noticing Yu Qi’s concern for Jiang Shi, Long Dan directly asked Yu Qi what he would do if Jiang Shi truly turned out to be the Saintess.

At the same time, Madam Xiao, under the pretext of sending something to the Jiang Matriarch, secretly instructed her servant to steal a blank sheet of paper and imprint it with the family’s official seal, intending to use it for Jiang Qiao’s marriage arrangement.
