Zhen Hang brought the blind woman under the eaves to take shelter from the rain. Upon hearing that Zhen Hang wanted to leave the palace, the blind woman curiously inquired about the fun things outside the palace. When the rain stopped, she offered to guide Zhen Hang out of the palace. Just as they were on their way out, the palace maids and eunuchs suddenly rushed over. Seeing the blind woman, they appeared concerned and even addressed her as "Princess.

" It turned out that the blind woman was actually Princess Fuqing. On Jiang Shi’s side, Aman learned that Ji Chongyi had suddenly died while drinking with courtesans and immediately informed Jiang Shi. Jiang Shi was shocked upon hearing the news and became very worried about Qiao Niang's situation.

Aman mentioned that the entire Duke An's Manor was now eagerly anticipating the birth of Qiao Niang’s child, which meant her position remained relatively stable and that she would be treated well. In the previous life, Ji Chongyi was supposed to have died much earlier. Although Jiang Shi had altered past events, she realized that Ji Chongyi's death was still inevitable. Yu Qi refused to eat at home, waiting for Jiang Shi to bring him fish soup.

However, the person who arrived was Cui Mingyue. Upon seeing her, Yu Qi grew impatient and wanted her to leave, but Cui Mingyue took the initiative to express her admiration for him. Yu Qi, however, showed complete disdain. In response, Cui Mingyue tried to threaten Yu Qi using Jiang Shi. No matter what tactics Cui Mingyue employed, Yu Qi remained indifferent. Cui Mingyue deduced that Jiang Shi was still unaware of Yu Qi’s identity as the Seventh Prince.

She was certain that once Jiang Shi found out, she would cut ties with him. While Cui Mingyue and Yu Qi were entangled in their conversation, Jiang Shi arrived to deliver the fish soup. Cui Mingyue originally intended to humiliate Jiang Shi but ended up being humiliated instead. Enraged, she attempted to strike Jiang Shi, only to be stopped by Yu Qi.

In frustration, Cui Mingyue deliberately revealed Yu Qi’s true identity as the Seventh Prince and issued a warning to Jiang Shi before leaving. Yu Qi quickly apologized to Jiang Shi, explaining that he never intended to hide the truth from her. However, upon learning his real identity, Jiang Shi became upset and left without looking back.

Prince Qi ordered his subordinates to investigate the Crown Prince’s movements and discovered that he had been secretly communicating with the Eldest Princess and was involved with numerous influential court officials. However, upon seeing that his subordinate was injured while reporting back, Prince Qi personally killed him to prevent any traces from leading back to himself. Meanwhile, Princess Qi, upon learning of Yu Qi’s return, prepared a gift on behalf of Prince Qi.

She believed that since Yu Qi and Prince Qi were full-blooded brothers, Yu Qi could be a valuable ally in the future. Prince Qi shared the same thoughts. After learning that Yu Qi was still unmarried, Princess Qi suggested hosting a family banquet at the manor to introduce a suitable noblewoman to Yu Qi and strengthen their alliances. Yu Qi carved a wooden puppet symbolizing his apology and had Er Niu deliver it to Jiang Shi.

Just as he was about to leave, he ran into Prince Qi. Prince Qi invited Yu Qi to visit his manor. Although Yu Qi was reluctant, Prince Qi insisted, leaving Yu Qi with no choice but to accept.
