After a quarrel, the two hot-tempered women unexpectedly became good friends. Lu Chenshi went to the hospital to visit Lu Xueting and ran into Nan Lan, who was preparing to be discharged. The reunion of enemies intensified their jealousy. Back at the Lu mansion, Baiwei cut open Nan Lan's wedding photo that was saved from the fire. Jin Biyun questioned Baiwei about the notebook incident. Baiwei claimed that she came to the Lu family alone and wanted to uncover the secrets of the household, using the old lady's favoritism towards her to silence Jin Biyun. Yu Shixiang brought flowers to the hospital to visit Tianqing. Seeing the flowers, Tianqing remembered how Yu Shixiang had taken care of her in the past and felt somewhat shy.
