Gu Yi set up the proposal scene and invited Qiao Jing to the location. Qiao Jing felt inexplicably uneasy but still decided to go. However, she ended up getting into the car sent by Bai Yun. Qiao Jing saw Bai Yun and their conversation didn't go well. During their argument, Bai Yun pushed Qiao Jing down the steps, and blood slowly flowed from her body. Bai Yun panicked at the sight and was pulled away from the scene by Du Huan. Qiao Jing, in excruciating pain, sought help from Jiang Ling, who called her. Bai Yun, tormented by guilt for causing Qiao Jing to miscarry, had continuous nightmares every day. Qiao Jing returned home to recover and reluctantly put away the items she had prepared for the child. On the other hand, Gu Yi, who lost both Qiao Jing and the child, was in immense pain.
