Bai Yun fell into a disadvantageous position during her confrontation with Qiao Jing, fueling her anger and resentment. During a gathering, Bai Yun deliberately spilled wine on herself, blaming Qiao Jing for it. In an attempt to calm the situation, Gu Yi took Bai Yun's side and made Qiao Jing polish Bai Yun's shoes. Fortunately, Bai Yan came to Qiao Jing's rescue, allowing her to escape from the situation. Bai Yan informed Qiao Jing that Bai Yun is plotting against her, as she is preparing for marriage with Gu Yi. Upon learning this, Qiao Jing's emotions became complicated.
The next day, Bai Yun suddenly became Gu Yi's special assistant at Ansha Group, targeting Qiao Jing at every opportunity. Furthermore, Bai Yun concealed an important contract, intending to frame Qiao Jing for incompetence. However, although Gu Yi reprimanded Qiao Jing and other members of the executive office, he did not agree to Bai Yun's request to dismiss them. Bai Yun concluded that Gu Yi was protecting Qiao Jing and decided to seek help from Gu Yi's mother, Fang Pei.
Fang Pei organized a "Hongmen Banquet" in an attempt to persuade Qiao Jing to leave Gu Yi. However, Qiao Jing refused and left directly. On her way back, she experienced severe menstrual cramps. After unsuccessfully seeking help from Gu Yi, she nearly fainted. Fortunately, Bai Yan arrived in time and rescued her.
