Bai Yan carefully looked after Qiao Jing and brought her to a hotel. Unexpectedly, their entrance and exit from the hotel were captured by Bai Yun's people and made public. Gu Yi misunderstood the relationship between Qiao Jing and Bai Yan, blaming Qiao Jing and accusing her of being unclear. Feeling unjustly accused when Gu Yi didn't trust her, Qiao Jing was deeply aggrieved, leading to a conflict between them. Seeing that her efforts to persuade Qiao Jing were in vain, Fang Pei approached Gu Yi and demanded that he break up with Qiao Jing as soon as possible.
