Zhang Junjie returned to a familiar place and couldn’t help but take out the box holding her wedding ring. Memories of that time came flooding back to her. She recalled the pain of having to undergo an abortion and vowing to become an independent and strong woman. Huang Wenda, knowing Zhang still had feelings for him, found the ring box among the photos but admitted that the wedding ring they once had was now lost.

He blamed himself for being such a terrible person back then, which led to Zhang leaving him. Seeing his self-recrimination, Zhang couldn’t hold back and revealed the truth: she had discovered a tumor, which made keeping the baby unsafe, forcing her to choose the abortion. Huang was devastated to learn the truth, and his guilt only deepened. He told Zhang that he would soon leave Beijing and promised never to disturb her life again.

Guan Xingxin visited Gu Yi, who admitted that Liang Daiwen’s sudden proposal left her completely unprepared and even felt a bit like he was being overly impulsive. Guan shared that in relationships, it isn’t always about who’s right or wrong. Some things need to be discussed openly. For example, she had hidden the conflict between her boyfriend and her parents, which eventually led to an irreparable situation.

Guan Xingxin bought several birthday gifts for Yu Dule, explaining that since she wouldn’t be around in the future, she had to prepare everything in advance.

When Yu opened the gifts, he realized how much he would miss Guan and began to feel he couldn’t live without her. Meanwhile, Gu Yi secretly researched tips on managing a household, eager to prepare for the future. Just as she was learning, Liang Daiwen unexpectedly walked in. Curious, he tried to check her phone, which made Gu flustered and attempt to distract him with excuses.

Gu Yi was shocked to learn how much money Liang Daiwen could earn, finding it hard to believe. Later, Guan visited Zhang Junjie to inform her that she was moving out. Despite Zhang’s cool demeanor, Guan hugged her warmly, inviting her to visit her new place anytime. Guan understood that beneath Zhang’s cold exterior was a kind heart. Yu Dule surprised Guan with a truck full of fresh flowers and invited her on a date.

During their conversation, Guan confided that she envied Gu Yi for having such a wonderful mother and had always longed for the warmth of family. However, in chasing that ideal, she neglected her own growth and overlooked many important things around her. Yu shared his own regrets about not cherishing his time with his ex-girlfriend. He reflected that had they planned for the future, they might have made it together.

This time, he wanted to be serious about his feelings and envision a future with Guan. Gu Yi made her return to the stage of Qi Pa Shuo (The U Can B Debate), boldly declaring that she wanted to take control and confess to Liang Daiwen. Zhang Junjie, sitting in the audience, wholeheartedly supported her. On stage, Gu Yi said, “If Liang Daiwen is willing to walk the rest of life’s journey with me, please smile.

” Liang, who had rarely smiled before, broke into a genuine grin. Gu Yi then took out a ring and proposed to him. Amid the cheers and blessings of everyone present, Gu Yi and Liang officially became a couple. Yu Dule and Guan Xingxin, along with everyone else, showered the happy couple with their congratulations.
