Dongbo Xueying angrily interrogated the High Priest, asking why he didn't keep his promise. The High Priest couldn't help but laugh heartily, surprised that someone dared to question him. Learning that Dongbo Xueying was injured by a hidden weapon, Chiqiu Bai examined his wounds with concern and discovered that Dongbo Xueying had become a Transcendent. This filled Situ Hong with envy and anger as he couldn't accept that Dongbo Xueying had surpassed him. According to Yu Jingqiu's account, Heifeng Shrine was likely another branch of the Demon God Assembly. Chiqiu Bai wasted no time and urgently reported the situation to the council. Everyone gathered to visit Dongbo Xueying and discussed going to Heifeng Shrine to investigate. However, they decided to wait until Dongbo Xueying had fully recovered. Kong Youyue and Pu Yangbo, after escaping from Kong's residence, decided to investigate Moyang Fortress. Dongbo Xueying led everyone to Heifeng Shrine, which was now empty. Situ Hong discovered Si Borong's jade pendant and criticized Dongbo Xueying for not saving him in time, although Dongbo Xueying was unaware that Si Borong had been captured as well. However, Situ Hong still refused to forgive him and threatened that if anything happened to Si Borong, he wouldn't let Dongbo Xueying off the hook. It was undoubtedly a stronghold of the Demon God Assembly, but they couldn't find any valuable information. They stumbled upon a massive rift that appeared to have been created by someone with profound skills. To gather more information, they went to Longshan Tower and sought the help of Lou Chang, the head of the tower. In Xueying Territory, Tong San was resting when he suddenly felt something flash before his eyes, but upon waking up, he couldn't find anything unusual.
