Fu Xizhou saw the video of the past argument between Jiang Zong and his mother at home, and he was very angry. He even developed a hatred towards Jiang Zong. Sun Cheng called Fu Xizhou and said that Zhu Jiu had gone to the villa again. Fu Xizhou asked Sun Cheng to continue monitoring her.

After returning home, Zhou Zhizhi met Gu Ruanruan. Zhou Zhizhi mentioned that Fu Yunshen already had a girlfriend and expressed her desire to give up. She used to think that as long as she worked hard, everything would be fine, but now she realized it wasn't that simple. Gu Ruanruan held Zhou Zhizhi's hand and said she would support whatever decision she made. Zhou Zhizhi couldn't hold back her tears and cried.

Soon, it was New Year's, and Gu Ruanruan went home with Fu Xizhou to hang up the "福" character with his grandfather. Zhu Jiu and Fu Yunshen also celebrated New Year's together. Zhu Jiu mentioned that she used to spend New Year's with her family and expressed some concerns about Fu Yunshen's grandfather. Fu Yunshen said his brother should be fine.

In fact, Fu Yunshen didn't know how to face his grandfather. Zhu Jiu reassured him that she would stand by his side no matter what happened. They counted down to the New Year in the snow, and when the New Year's bell rang, Fu Yunshen kissed Zhu Jiu on the forehead. Even though they were in a foreign land, taking care of each other was enough for them.

Gu Ruanruan wanted to have a date with Fu Xizhou, as they hadn't had alone time for a long time. Fu Xizhou agreed and even adjusted his schedule. Unknowingly, Fu Xizhou had developed feelings for Gu Ruanruan, and he didn't want to marry her just for her family background.

After undergoing surgery in the hospital, Fu Yunshen's operation was successful, and he could feel some sensation in his lower limbs. Gu Ruanruan invited Fu Xizhou to accompany her to try on wedding dresses. However, Fu Xizhou was busy with work and kept praising every dress she tried on. Gu Ruanruan became angry, and when Fu Xizhou realized her mood was not good, she had already left.

Gu Ruanruan didn't want to buy anything; she just wanted Fu Xizhou to be with her. When she returned home, she vented to Zhou Zhizhi, who comforted her. When Gu Ruanruan returned home, she found that Fu Xizhou had bought a wedding dress for her and said it was the most beautiful one when she wore it. Gu Ruanruan said she didn't care, but she was actually quite happy. Fu Xizhou went to negotiate a business deal and now had his own ideas.

Zhu Jiu accompanied Fu Yunshen for rehabilitation treatment. Fu Yunshen could now take a few steps forward, and he was content with his progress. Zhu Jiu advised him not to rush, and he was doing very well. Zhu Jiu was very happy.

Actually, Zhu Jiu felt some guilt. Fu Yunshen was working so hard, and she couldn't help much. Fu Yunshen told her that as long as she was by his side, it was enough.
