This time, Fu Xizhou completely confronted Fu Yunshen. Fu Xizhou asked his younger brother why he had returned, and Fu Yunshen felt that his brother was driven by ruthless ambition for profit. He then turned and left. In reality, Fu Xizhou had his own troubles, but he didn't express them. However, their conversation was overheard by Gu Ruanruan. Gu Ruanruan speculated that Fu Yunshen must have returned because of the car accident that happened years ago. However, Fu Xizhou didn't discuss anything with Gu Ruanruan. Surprisingly, Fu Xizhou even shouted at Gu Ruanruan and then left in anger.

Fu Yunshen went to practice fencing, reminiscing about the scenes when he and his brother were close. When their father passed away, Fu Xizhou had been there to accompany him through his grief. However, since the car accident, their relationship had changed, and it seemed like they could never go back to the way it was.

Fu Xizhou looked at his mother's photo and remembered the scene of their mother's funeral after the car accident. Everyone focused on Fu Yunshen and never paid attention to Fu Xizhou. This was the most painful part for Fu Xizhou.

After drinking quite a bit, Fu Yunshen arrived at Zhu Jiu's doorstep. He mentioned that the person who attacked him in Heidelberg was sent by his brother. Zhu Jiu knew that Fu Yunshen must be feeling very sad and quickly took him upstairs to rest.

While putting up posters, Gu Ruanruan suddenly fell down the stairs and nearly suffered a concussion. Fu Xizhou rushed to the hospital, but Gu Ruanruan felt that there was no honesty left between them. Fu Xizhou clearly stated that he couldn't be completely transparent with anyone. He even suggested that if Gu Ruanruan couldn't find happiness with him, she should reconsider their relationship.

At the hospital, Zhu Jiu unexpectedly ran into Ji Silang, who had returned from abroad. Zhu Jiu was very happy, and he even invited her to dinner that night.
