Mr. Jiang learned that it was Fu Xizhou who caused his son's injury abroad. Mr. Jiang went to find Fu Xizhou, and they had a dispute. Mr. Jiang insulted Fu Xizhou's mother, and in anger, Fu Xizhou grabbed Mr. Jiang's neck. Fu Yunshen rushed over and pulled his brother away. Afterwards, Fu Yunshen quickly took his mother to the hospital. Mr. Jiang began to worry that Fu Xizhou might harm his son in the future. She was not concerned about herself but was most worried about comforting Fu Yunshen. She told Fu Yunshen that true freedom comes with power. Fu Yunshen promised his mother that he would reclaim what was rightfully his, but the condition was not to tell his grandfather about Sun Cheng's actions. Mr. Jiang agreed.

Later, Fu Yunshen went to the company and learned from Chen Le that everyone had been called to a meeting by Professor Yuan. No one wanted to go, but they had no choice. Fu Xizhou had initially asked his secretary to buy something for Gu Ruanruan but decided against it, deciding to handle it himself.

Mr. Jiang originally wanted Fu Yunshen to have dinner at Zhou Zhizhi's house tonight, but Fu Yunshen refused. Fu Xizhou bought snacks, intending to give them to Gu Ruanruan, but she had returned to her family, so Fu Xizhou had to go home first. After returning home, Fu Yunshen's mother quickly cooked for her daughter. Gu Ruanruan didn't tell her parents about her quarrel with Fu Xizhou.

After work, Fu Yunshen went to pick up Zhu Jiu. Originally, today was supposed to be the day he officially took Fu Yunshen home, but due to Zhu Jiu's overtime, they could only spend time at the hospital. Fu Yunshen wasn't angry; as long as he could be with Zhu Jiu, it was enough. The two ate instant noodles together, and Zhu Jiu asked about the relationship between Fu Yunshen and his brother. Fu Yunshen said the situation was not good. He also wanted to travel with Zhu Jiu, but she said they might lose their jobs if they played like that. Fu Yunshen told Zhu Jiu that he wanted to introduce her officially to his mother and grandfather on the weekend, but Zhu Jiu felt unprepared. Fu Yunshen reassured her, saying that he would always be by her side.

Gu Ruanruan's mother wanted her daughter and Fu Xizhou to have a honeymoon trip together. Gu Ruanruan asked if her parents had hidden anything. Her mother admitted there were many things but said that in marriage, unless there were substantive mistakes, one had to pretend not to know. These words touched Gu Ruanruan. Later, Gu Ruanruan's mother felt that something was wrong with her daughter. Her husband reassured her, attributing it to Fu Xizhou being too busy lately, not having time to accompany their daughter.

After Fu Yunshen returned home, his mother asked him to apologize to Zhou Zhizhi's family when he had time. Fu Yunshen said he wanted to bring his girlfriend home this weekend. Mr. Jiang reluctantly agreed. During a board meeting, Fu Yunshen announced a new discovery in his research direction. However, Fu Xizhou was the first to stand up and oppose Fu Yunshen. He even thought Fu Yunshen was somewhat delusional and claimed that a foreign company wanted to buy their project. Fu Yunshen was very angry and openly hit Fu Xizhou. A dispute was about to break out, but Chen Le quickly pulled Fu Yunshen away, and Fu Xizhou left directly. It can be said that Fu Yunshen and Fu Xizhou are now openly in conflict.

After finishing work, Gu Ruanruan's colleagues wanted to give her a ride home, but it wasn't on the way. Gu Ruanruan tactfully declined. At this time, Fu Xizhou came to find Gu Ruanruan and offered to give her a ride home. Midway through the journey, Gu Ruanruan suddenly asked Fu Xizhou to stop. Mr. Jiang, however, punished Zhu Jiu severely, and she was truly frightened.
