Fu Yunshen came to the hospital to deliver food to his grandmother. The noodle soup he made tasted just like his grandmother's mother's, and his grandmother loved it. It reminded her of her hometown. They made plans to return together when Zhu Jiu and the others had time. Fu Yunshen also visited Zhu Jiu's office and found her sleeping tiredly at her desk. Carefully, he covered her with a blanket and ended up falling asleep across from her. When Zhu Jiu woke up, she saw Fu Yunshen's sleeping face. She reached out to trace his eyes and nose. Fu Yunshen, sensing the movement, woke up too. He took out the meal he prepared for Zhu Jiu and ate with her. Fu Yunshen shared about his grandmother missing her hometown, and Zhu Jiu, feeling for the old lady, considered the idea of arranging a trip home. However, she expressed concern about her grandmother's current health. Fu Yunshen advised her not to let her grandmother have regrets, and Zhu Jiu agreed to think it over. Later, Zhu Jiu let Fu Yunshen go home to rest.

Jiang Shuning returned home and inquired about the situation of the nanny, Fu Lingtian. Learning that he was already asleep, she hesitated in front of his door but ultimately decided not to wake him.

The next day, noticing Zhu Jiu's suppressed emotions, her grandmother comforted her, advising her to do what she could and leave the rest to fate. She expressed satisfaction that Zhu Jiu now had someone to take care of her. Zhu Jiu, holding back tears, agreed. She and Fu Yunshen left the ward together. Zhu Jiu decided to take her grandmother back to their hometown and discussed it with Fu Yunshen, who agreed to arrange the trip. Jiang Shuning went to Fu Lingtian's study and found Fu Xizhou there. She explained the situation, and Fu Lingtian decided to leave it to Fu Xizhou. Jiang Shuning, dissatisfied, clashed with Fu Xizhou, leading to an argument with Fu Lingtian, who eventually dismissed her and drove her out.

Zhu Jiu and Ji Silaro visited Mengmeng, providing some instructions to Mengmeng's mother.

Fu Yunshen and Zhu Jiu took her grandmother back to their hometown, meeting Zhu Jiu's aunt. The four of them sat together, chatting and enjoying snacks, creating a lively atmosphere. When it was time for dinner, Fu Yunshen volunteered to cook with Zhu Jiu's aunt, having learned to prepare a meal to share with her grandmother.

Fu Xizhou visited the gallery to find Gu Ruanruan. Upon arriving, he saw Gu Ruanruan hugging a stranger. Though the moment was brief, Fu Xizhou felt uncomfortable. Back home, he observed Gu Ruanruan's lipstick, lost in thought. In the restaurant, Gu Ruanruan was chatting with Daniel when she received a call from Fu Xizhou. Apologizing to Daniel, she reluctantly answered the call. Fu Xizhou mentioned a lipstick left at his place, insisting on knowing its location to deliver it to her. Gu Ruanruan hung up in silence, and Fu Xizhou, holding the lipstick, murmured sadly, "You, she doesn't want it." Fu Xizhou also received a delivery for Gu Ruanruan, called her, and insisted on delivering it urgently. After some reluctance, Gu Ruanruan asked him to throw it away and hung up.

Jiang Shuning met with Zhou Zhizhi's mother, hoping to seek assistance from the Zhou family through Zhou Zhizhi and Fu Yunshen's relationship. She even mentioned using Zhu Jiu's grandmother's liver source to force Zhu Jiu and Fu Yunshen to break up. Zhou Zhizhi's mother wished her success.

Zhu Jiu and Fu Yunshen enjoyed a cheerful walk and conversation on a small path. In their absence, Zhu Jiu's aunt asked her grandmother about her health. The grandmother shared her condition, and Zhu Jiu's aunt felt distressed. The two sisters spoke hand in hand and were seen by Zhu Jiu and Fu Yunshen upon their return.

Using the location tracking feature set up by Gu Ruanruan before, Fu Xizhou found her location and went to the restaurant directly. He spoke to Daniel with a strong sense of hostility. Gu Ruanruan took him outside and threatened to file for divorce if he continued to resist. Jiang Shuning and Zhou Zhizhi's mother witnessed this scene and exchanged a smile.
