By this time, Zhu Jiu and Ji Silang had escaped to a desert. Zhu Jiu's wrist was injured, and she was in a semi-conscious state. Ji Silang was also on the verge of collapse. They reached a dead end, and both fell unconscious. Fu Yunshen hurriedly drove there. Zhu Jiu had awakened by then, and the car crashed into a rock. Ji Silang, covered in blood, woke up, and Zhu Jiu, realizing the situation, told him to escape. In his dying moments, Ji Silang told Zhu Jiu that the person he killed was named Peter. Although it was a killing, it was also a kind of release. Ji Silang didn't survive, dying in front of Zhu Jiu.
