Seeing the chaotic room, Hua Qian's heart seemed to skip a beat, filled with anxiety and worry. She quickly woke up Hua Shen, who also appeared puzzled about why he was in Mu Yao's room. Shortly after, Zhong Yelan rushed in. The moment he entered, he glared at Hua Shen and Hua Qian and quickly approached to comfort Mu Yao. Mu Yao, looking like a frightened deer, gazed at him with a look of innocence, saying she seemed to have accidentally injured Hua Shen.

Upon hearing this, Hua Shen felt wronged. He remembered clearly that he hadn't touched her. But before he could explain, Zhong Yelan had already gotten up and intended to speak up for Mu Yao. Hua Qian hastily got up and tried to stop him, urging him to calm down. However, Zhong Yelan, now like a wild beast, was beyond listening to Hua Qian's words and even pushed her aside. Hua Qian fell to the ground, and her tender skin was pierced by the shards. She barely had time to feel the pain before she instinctively blocked a sword that was about to strike Hua Shen. Fortunately, Hua Rongzhou arrived just in time to prevent Hua Qian from getting hurt.

Zhong Yelan was even more infuriated, using all his strength to push Hua Rongzhou aside. Hua Qian desperately tried to persuade him, but he remained unmoved. At the point of a standoff between the two, Zhong Xiwu arrived and temporarily diffused the situation. Zhong Yelan walked out of the room with Mu Yao, who was in disarray, but Hua Qian clearly saw a strange expression on her face. Later, Zhong Xiwu, who had left briefly, returned and sat down, taking Hua Qian's hand and personally applying medicine for her.

Upon learning that Hua Shen had been locked up in the dungeon, Hua's mother urgently sought out Hua Qian, asking her to find a solution. Hua Qian might be displeased with Hua Shen's reckless behavior, but he was still her own brother, and she couldn't just ignore the situation. However, since the incident had just occurred, visiting the dungeon would clearly provide evidence against him. But Hua's mother didn't care about these details; she was only concerned about whether her beloved son would suffer. Feeling helpless, Hua Qian knew her mother had always been biased, and if she didn't give her an answer today, she wouldn't have peace. So, Hua Qian went to the dungeon herself to inquire about the situation from Hua Shen.

Hua Shen told Hua Qian that after drinking too much, he had been in the pavilion the whole time, never leaving its vicinity. Later, he saw a well-looking palace maid in the rear garden and, driven by the effects of the alcohol, decided to follow her. However, right after he stepped outside the courtyard, he was knocked unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he saw Hua Qian. Hearing this, Hua Qian was infuriated, intending to have her brother reflect on his actions properly in the dungeon.

To investigate and uncover the truth, Hua Qian asked Cui Zhu. Although Cui Zhu didn't provide any significant information, Hua Qian had a vague feeling that something was amiss. She then went to find Mu Yao. She confronted Mu Yao directly, stating that she had already promised not to harm her, but now, she had used such despicable means to hurt innocent people around her, and Hua Qian wouldn't let it go. Mu Yao couldn't help but sneer, admitting that she had orchestrated the events of the day of the grand wedding. It was her revenge for the palace maid Linglong, whom Hua Shen had treated as a mere servant and given away to someone else.

Hearing this, Hua Qian's hands trembled involuntarily. Perhaps it was guilt, perhaps it was guilt, perhaps it was regret, but she couldn't speak anymore; she just lowered her head and remained silent. After Mu Yao vented her anger, she only said, "I understand," and then turned and left. Just as she was leaving, if it hadn't been for Qian Zhi supporting her in time, Hua Qian was afraid she would have taken a nasty fall.

After walking a few steps, Zhong Yelan came towards her. Upon seeing Hua Qian, Zhong Yelan simply commanded her coldly, stating that from now on, she wasn't allowed to come without his permission. Hua Qian grabbed Zhong Yelan's hand, asking him if his sword would have fallen on her head that day if Zhong Xiwu hadn't intervened. Seeing Zhong Yelan turn his head away, Hua Qian couldn't help but sneer. She knew Zhong Yelan's answer would be affirmative. At that moment, Hua Qian seemed to understand something, and her obsession instantly disappeared from her heart.
