In Pai Video, Meng Haotian wants to collaborate with Fang Hui to create a short play. She believes that short plays are definitely the future trend. Fang Hui doesn't understand why she wants to collaborate with her. Meng Haotian tells her that Xingqi Yixian has been targeting Video Party because of Liang Luofei, and now there are no actors or directors daring to work with them. Fang Hui expresses her concern about the unfavorable economic environment in the entire market, and how small and medium-sized enterprises already struggle to survive. If they offend the industry leader, it will be even harder for them to survive. Meng Haotian understands Fang Hui's concerns and says that if they want to break the monopoly of Xingqi Yixian and the market's predicament, they can only work together and asks her to consider it before making a decision.

Shuangqiao, Mengjie, Qiaokuan, and their team have a meeting. Qiaokuan believes that they have been researching for five years and victory is within reach. He doesn't want to collaborate with other teams and let them steal their technological achievements. Mengjie tells them that there are no investors willing to invest anymore, and they are about to go bankrupt. Seeing Mengjie on the verge of breaking down, Qiaokuan quickly agrees to follow her arrangements. So, Mengjie leaves the meeting room and takes the initiative to discuss the collaboration approach with Leng Siming.

Huayitang, Jiang Leilei asks Qi Lang to help her watch the store, as she plans to go and pick up Xiao Tuan on an electric bike by herself. On the way, Jiang Leilei is scared by a reversing truck and falls to the ground along with her bike. Lingdian, who happens to be doing something at a nearby café, initially intends to give coffee to Leng Siming but seeing that he's not there, she hands the coffee to Yinuo instead. Seeing Yinuo tidying up the table, Meng Haotian learns that Maggie made breakfast and gave it to Leng Siming, feeling disappointed, she leaves.

In a taxi, Meng Haotian receives a message from Fang Hui, learning that she is willing to invest 40%. Meng Haotian quickly makes a phone call to have Amy prepare the contract. At the same time, Jiang Leilei sends a message asking Meng Haotian to take care of Xiao Tuan for one night. At night, Meng Haotian takes Xiao Tuan home. During dinner, when Meng Haotian sees Xiao Tuan feeling worried about Jiang Leilei, she quickly comforts him and asks him to eat more.

On the other side, Qi Lang helps Jiang Leilei back to her apartment. Before Qi Lang leaves, Jiang Leilei tells him that she really has something to ask for his help. In the bathroom, Jiang Leilei injures her hand and can't pull up the zipper on her dress. She asks Qi Lang to help her with it. Qi Lang feels very awkward and quickly escapes after helping.

Lingdian, Maggie enters the meeting room carrying supper and specially hands a meal to Leng Siming. Meng Haotian sees the photo of the meeting room taken by Yuyang and coincidentally, Xiao Tuan says he misses Leng Siming, so Meng Haotian asks him to call Leng Siming. When Leng Siming answers the phone, Maggie eavesdrops on their conversation. After the call, Leng Siming picks up his clothes and goes home.

As soon as Leng Siming steps out of the elevator, he sees Leng Nuan and Li Chenyang hugging each other. Learning that they established a relationship a month ago and Leng Nuan didn't tell him, Leng Siming is very angry. They don't talk for long, and Leng Nuan angrily drags Li Chenyang away. Leng Siming goes to Meng Haotian's house, and with the persuasion of Xiao Tuan, they reconcile and become sweet again.

The next day, Li Chenyang invites Leng Siming to a restaurant for a meal. Knowing that Leng Nuan wants to stay at home for a few days, Leng Siming asks Li Chenyang to tell her to come back quickly, saying that he is not angry with her. Li Chenyang assures Leng Siming that he will treat Leng Nuan well. Huayitang, Jiang Leilei is busy arranging the flower shop. Qi Lang sees that Jiang Leilei hurt her foot but still wears high heels, so he quickly asks her to sit on the sofa while he starts arranging.

The afternoon tea gathering begins. Jiang Leilei sincerely customizes different bouquets and fragrances as gifts for each lady. Mrs. Zhou, Fang Hui, and other ladies are very satisfied and full of praise. Through the ladies' conversation, Qi Lang learns that Jiang Leilei's ex-husband had an affair. Jiang Leilei takes this opportunity to tell the ladies that she is single and enjoying her life, and she showcases the new bouquets in the flower shop.
