Huayitang, Xiao Tuan kept complaining about being hungry, but Jiang Leilei was busy moving flowers and could only ask him to wait. Suddenly, Xiao Tuan noticed several dishes placed on the table outside the flower shop. He recognized them as the dishes they had eaten at the hotel and asked Jiang Leilei where Qi Lang went. Seizing the opportunity, Jiang Leilei mentioned that if she wanted to be with Qi Lang, she wanted to know Xiao Tuan's opinion. Xiao Tuan expressed that he really liked Qi Lang because Lao Luo was never around, and he wanted Qi Lang to protect Jiang Leilei. Leng Siming brought Meng Haotian home, but unexpectedly, Leng's father appeared with Maji. During dinner, Leng's father suddenly asked about Meng Haotian's father's job, and Meng Haotian answered truthfully. To ease the tense atmosphere, Leng Siming introduced the videos posted by Pai Video to his father. Leng's father expressed his anticipation for collaborating with Pai Video and introduced Maji as their future daughter-in-law. Upon hearing this, Leng Siming couldn't help but interrupt his father's words and argued with him about marriage. Leng's father stated that dating was their freedom, but marriage should be based on social status and background, and that's why Maji was their daughter-in-law. Meng Haotian held back Leng Siming, who was about to get angry, thanked Leng's parents for their hospitality, and left. Leng Siming was about to chase after her when suddenly his father had a heart attack. In the end, Meng Haotian left alone, taking a plane back home. In the evening, Meng Haotian recalled her father's words and sadly turned off her phone.

Leng's father believed that his actions were for Leng Siming's own good, and they started arguing again. Leng's mother mentioned that Leng Siming was needed at the company because his father's health was not good. Seeing this, Leng Siming agreed to go back to the company with his father, but he would have to leave once things were resolved.

Huayitang, Lao Luo mentioned that he had business to discuss with Yuan Wenbin and asked Jiang Leilei to give him Yuan Wenbin's contact information. Jiang Leilei said that she couldn't help with work matters and hurried into the flower shop. Later, Lao Luo found Yuan Wenbin and told him that he had a great project that would allow him to achieve great success. The two of them arrived at a cafe, where Lao Luo handed the proposal to Yuan Wenbin and continuously tempted him to join the project.

Wuxing Media, Zhou Yu, Fang Hui, and Meng Haotian discussed the development plan for the drama, but Meng Haotian seemed absent-minded.
