Yan Yue moved the plants on the balcony while muttering to himself behind, as if practicing how to propose to An Ran. But as the words came out, he found them childish himself, unable to resist lightly flicking the leaves of the plants. Then, he took a rose, turned 180 degrees in place, imagining looking at An Ran's face, asking her if she would marry him.
However, after going through this set of actions, he suddenly deflated, feeling that it was too contrived. After a busy day, Yan Yue couldn't wait to meet An Ran at the intersection and even carried her on his back. After Hu Yingjun dropped An Ran off, he didn't just idle around either; he immediately went to pick up Bai Mengyao. While Hu Yingjun went to buy water, Bai Mengyao accidentally discovered a gift. Delighted, she was happy that Hu Yingjun was so busy yet still found time to buy her a gift.
Seeing Hu Yingjun hadn't returned yet, Bai Mengyao carefully opened the gift box and found a sparkling diamond ring. She was excited and felt that this might be Hu Yingjun's engagement ring for her. She tried to control her fluttering heart, placed the ring back, and gently touched her messy hair to remind herself to stay calm.
An Ran and Yan Yue were lying on the sofa enjoying their time together when suddenly she felt extremely uncomfortable in her stomach. She rushed to the bathroom and quickly called Bai Mengyao. An Ran felt somewhat embarrassed, as she couldn't possibly have stomach troubles at Yan Yue's place, especially after he had suggested that she move in with him. But Bai Mengyao couldn't understand An Ran's dilemma. She thought that since they were together, having stomach troubles was normal and there was no need to feel awkward.
An Ran was still confused about whether she should agree to move in together. Bai Mengyao, as an outsider, couldn't make that decision for An Ran and could only ask her what she truly felt. An Ran was extremely conflicted and had no choice but to personally ask Yan Yue if they really were at the stage of living together. Yan Yue was candid because he had seen An Ran's drunk antics and her parents and friends knew him. There was really nothing to worry about. With Yan Yue's persuasion, An Ran finally agreed. But after truly living together, she still felt a slight awkwardness.
