Zheng Xijue finally convinced Third Uncle to stay, but Zheng Dongni told Third Uncle everything about Zhao Zhao's serious illness. After much deliberation, Third Uncle decided not to ignore Zhao Zhao's condition since human life is precious. However, Zheng Nanyin couldn't accept it, thinking that their family had been ruined by Xu Hui and now they had to take care of Xu Hui's daughter. Zheng Nanyin rushed to Zhao Zhao's ward, intending to question her, but was shocked by Zhao Zhao's bloody condition. Zheng Xijue, Zheng Dongni, and Zheng Nanyin picked up Zheng Nanyin from the hospital. Zheng Dongni suggested that they sell the car and take a final drive together. They drove the car along the river, reminiscing about their childhood memories.
On the other hand, Su Yuanzhi's parents arranged for him to study abroad and prepared to send Zheng Nanyin along with him to take care of his life. Su Yuanzhi wanted to discuss it with Zheng Nanyin, but his mother did not allow it.
