Xue Bi sneaked into Chen Yucheng's hospital room and had a heart-to-heart talk with him, urging him to see Zheng Dongni. However, Chen Yucheng remained tight-lipped and refused to speak.
Su's parents insisted that Zheng Nanyin give up her plan to go to Africa and accompany Su Yuanzhi to Switzerland. Zheng Nanyin encouraged herself and finally firmly refused Su's parents' request.
Zheng Nanyin took Dongni, Jiang Yi, and Chen Yan out to eat barbecue to celebrate and said that they had to eat well and get fat so that Zheng Xijue wouldn't feel guilty. The four women talked about Xijue and each of them recalled his goodness. Jiang Yi immediately vowed that she was willing to wait no matter how long Xijue was sentenced.
Su's mother went directly to Third Aunty, hoping to persuade Zheng Nanyin and also said that their child would have Swiss nationality when born. However, Third Aunty said that she didn't care about the nationality of her grandchild, and only cared if Zheng Nanyin was happy now, leaving Su's mother with no response.
Dongni slipped into Chen Yucheng's room while he was sleeping and told him that she was willing to take care of him for the rest of her life.
Doctor Ye came to tell Chen Yucheng that there was a new treatment plan that he could try, and even though the chances of success were low, they would not give up. Chen Yucheng suddenly understood Xijue's kindness.
Chen Yucheng finally agreed to see Dongni, and he told her that he would not sue Xijue anymore. He would work hard to treat his right hand and try to return to work next year.
