Tang Su's peaceful life did not last long, as Huangfu Lan, the mother of Huangfu Jue, suddenly announced her return home. Tong Yiwu nervously told Tang Su that the big family values reputation and public opinion very much, and if Huangfu Lan knew that Tang Su and Huangfu Jue were unmarried and living together, she would be very angry. However, Huangfu Jue comforted them, saying that Huangfu Lan would not come back to live because he had already changed Huangfu Lan's bedroom into Tang Su's bedroom. Upon hearing this, Tang Su and Tong Yiwu were in a state of collapse. They complained about Huangfu Jue, who was a stubborn man, while busy cleaning up the house and trying to move out overnight before Huangfu Lan arrived. Unfortunately, Tang Su encountered a crazy fan who blocked the road, and while dealing with the fan, Huangfu Lan arrived unexpectedly and witnessed the chaos, leaving a bad impression of Tang Su. Huangfu Lan wanted to enter the house, but Tang Su remembered that her luggage was still inside. Tong Yiwu came out to help and hid the luggage in the second-floor bedroom. However, after entering the house, Tang Su repeatedly revealed her familiarity with the house, making Huangfu Lan suspicious. Huangfu Lan, who did not get along well with Huangfu Jue, wanted to rest on the second floor. Tang Su quickly brought out a fruit plate, claiming that it was prepared by Huangfu Jue for her, hoping to keep Huangfu Lan. Huangfu Lan believed her and enjoyed the fruit peacefully.
