Due to her rising popularity, Tang Su's position in LO Company has surpassed that of Yu Mengmeng. The company even gave Tang Su her own private lounge, which undoubtedly angered Yu Mengmeng. Her hatred towards Tang Su grew even stronger.
Upon learning that Tang Su had moved out of Huangfu Jue's home and that their relationship was currently tense, Yu Mengmeng came up with a plan. She used Tang Su's phone to send a message to Huangfu Jue, inviting him to a private meeting at a hotel. Huangfu Jue, excited to receive the message from Tang Su, eagerly went to the hotel to try and salvage their relationship.
However, he walked into a trap set by Yu Mengmeng. Unknowingly, he drank a beverage laced with sleeping pills and waited for Tang Su to arrive. But instead of Tang Su, it was Yu Mengmeng who entered the room. Yu Mengmeng took advantage of Huangfu Jue's weakened state and tried to get intimate with him.
Huangfu Jue, confused and disoriented, mistook Yu Mengmeng for Tang Su and almost made a mistake. However, he eventually realized his mistake and tried his best to stay alert, even dousing himself with cold water to stay awake.
