Tang Su fell asleep and Huangfu Jue helped her into the house and laid her on the couch. Accidentally, he kissed her face and was stunned. Huangfu Jue watched Tang Su sleep by the couch after gazing at her for a while and kissing her again.
The next day, Huangfu Jue woke up and wanted to ask Tang Su to bring him a glass of water, but there was no response. He searched the house for a long time but couldn't find her. He found a note in the living room that Tang Su left, apologizing for leaving without saying goodbye and promising to see him again in three months.
Huangfu Jue showed the note to Chi Ye, who asked what had happened yesterday. Huangfu Jue told her that he had kissed Tang Su once, and that was all. Chi Ye thought that Tang Su left because Huangfu Jue didn't do anything else. She reminded Huangfu Jue of the incident with Yu Mengmeng that had caused a drop in the company's stock price and warned that the shareholders would become dissatisfied if such things continued.
Huangfu Jue thought of exposing Yu Mengmeng's scheme, but decided against it as it would only create more trouble with the shareholders. He asked Chi Ye to find Tang Su and promised not to make her do anything she didn't want to do if she returned.
Huangfu Jue collected all of Yu Mengmeng's posters, feeling that he had made Tang Su do things she didn't want to do, which led to her leaving. He promised not to make her do such things again if she came back. When he heard a noise, he thought it was Tang Su and hugged the person, but it turned out to be someone else.
Chi Ye thought that Huangfu Jue wouldn't recognize the mistake, so she hired a new maid for him and planned to switch back if Tang Su returned. Huangfu Jue didn't want another maid and expressed his disappointment with the song that Lu Yanzhi had written for the company's fifth anniversary. He told him to rewrite it and didn't let him see Tang Su without permission.
Lu Yanzhi was angry and left. Chi Ye stopped him and reminded him that Huangfu Jue had given him many opportunities to succeed. Huangfu Jue arranged a party and received a call from Chi Ye, who had found a famous weight loss center. Huangfu Jue rushed there and found Tang Su. She wanted to lose weight before facing Huangfu Jue again and showing him her best self. Huangfu Jue promised to wait for her.
