Shen Xifan hesitated for a long time before finally confessing to He Suye that she didn’t want to go abroad for her studies. She had decided to stay in the country to take care of her mother’s health. Deep down, He Suye knew that Shen Xifan had always longed to see the world, believing that only through that experience could she truly understand what she wanted in life. So he tried to persuade her not to give up the hard-earned opportunity and instead encouraged her to pursue her dreams. He promised to become her strongest support and assured her that he would take good care of her family in her absence.

As Shen Xifan’s mother completed her fifteenth round of chemotherapy, her condition showed significant improvement. The whole family accompanied her to the hospital for her final chemotherapy session. Later, He Suye joined a medical team for a rural outreach program, providing health consultations for the elderly in remote areas.
