Du Xunyu saved Zeng Baolin and gave him some money to hide. Zeng Baolin was confused by the actions of Du Jingchuang and his son because Du Jingchuang wanted to kill him, but Du Xunyu saved him. Zeng Baolin asked Du Xunyu if he also wanted what he had on him. Du Xunyu reminded Zeng Baolin that Du Jingchuang would not stop until he saw his body and told him to leave quickly. As for what he had on him, it would be his eventually as long as Zeng Baolin died.
Tomorrow Yong Sheng will have a banquet. Du Jingchuang went to Jiang Ying’s room and regretfully told her that he was old now and if he were twenty years younger, he would be so compatible with Jiang Ying. Du Jingchuang kissed Jiang Ying’s hand and told her that he had her in his heart since the first time he saw her and she had disturbed his mind. Du Jingchuang asked Jiang Ying to wear the navy blue cheongsam tomorrow because she looked best in it.

In this scene, Jiang Ying helps Du Jingchuang get into a car but he arranges for her to ride in Du Xunyu’s car instead. Before she leaves, Du Jingchuang looks at Jiang Ying with reluctance and brushes away some hair from her forehead.
Jiang Ying and Du Xunyu were riding in a car together when she felt that something was wrong. However, Du Xunyu told her not to worry too much. Just as they drove out for a short distance, the car stalled. Du Xunyu tried to start the car but couldn’t get it started and began to sweat.
Du Jingchuang wanted to watch Du Xunyu and Jiang Ying die, so he followed them and waited nearby. Unexpectedly, when the time came, it was his own car that exploded.
