Wen Yifan was preparing for her art exam, and Sang Yan accompanied her to book a room. On the day of the exam, he stayed outside the hotel in the heavy snow, ensuring her safety. During her dance practice, Wen Yifan's smile was genuine, and on stage during the exam, she was full of confidence. Throughout every stage of her journey, Sang Yan was by her side, offering support and protection.

Wen Yifan played the video of the interview for the mother and asked her to let her daughter go. While editing the footage, Mu Chengyun kept pestering Wen Yifan, inviting her to attend the welcome party. Unable to refuse her colleagues' persistent invitation, Wen Yifan agreed. The party was held at a bar for after-work drinks. Sang Yan finished work and came over, just in time to spot Wen Yifan upstairs. He stood still, watching her—she was his scenery.

Unfortunately, Mu Chengyun came over and interrupted, saying he wanted to get closer to Wen Yifan’s heart. Wen Yifan’s colleagues had a great atmosphere, and she drank quite a bit. When she was helping Mu Chengyun down the stairs, Sang Yan suddenly appeared, forcibly separating the two and then pushing Mu Chengyun into the back seat of a car. When they reached the gate of Nan Wu University, Sang Yan picked Mu Chengyun up and started walking.

It turned out that Sang Yan, with his experience, could tell that Mu Chengyun was faking being drunk. Wen Yifan remembered a time when Sang Yan pretended to be drunk—staggering, saying he had drunk too much, rubbing against her, and needing her help to walk. It took a lot of effort for Wen Yifan to help him up the steps, only for him to laugh and admit he had been pretending.

Wen Yifan had drunk too much and stumbled out of the elevator, falling into Sang Yan’s arms. Looking at Wen Yifan, who had her hands on his chest, Sang Yan asked if she was trying to chase after him. Wen Yifan waved her hand and said she hadn’t considered that yet, but would tell him when she did.

Sang Yan advised her to drink less in the future, but Wen Yifan retorted, saying that he was the real alcoholic, having drunk ten bottles at the graduation ceremony. That day, Wen Yifan broke up with Sang Yan. He was in a bad mood and had drunk to drown his sorrows. Sang Yan made honey water for Wen Yifan, and as she looked at him, she suddenly thought of her father. A sour feeling rose in her heart.

After drinking the honey water, Wen Yifan stood up and told Sang Yan that if his house still smelled like the renovation, she would stay a little longer. Lying in bed, Wen Yifan reflected on what Mu Chengyun had said at the party—because of her, Sang Yan had drunk more than ten bottles alone. She suddenly felt very guilty towards him.

In her drowsy state, she mistook her cat for Sang Yan and whispered, “I’ll be nicer to you in the future. ”In the middle of the night, Wen Yifan came out to drink some water. Sang Yan thought she was sleepwalking again and muttered to himself, wondering what triggered her sleepwalking. Wen Yifan overheard him and suddenly felt impulsive. She no longer wanted to suppress her inner feelings like she had in the past.

So, she pretended to be sleepwalking, gathered her courage, and hugged Sang Yan. The next morning, as soon as Wen Yifan left the room, Sang Yan began again. He said Wen Yifan was quite controlled, with the hugs becoming shorter each time, and she only hugged him. He jokingly asked if this was some new method of pursuing someone. Wen Yifan quickly denied it and said she really had been sleepwalking.

Sang Yan sensed that something was off with Wen Yifan, and she quickly grabbed a few bites of food to escape the situation. Sang Yan said he needed to go handle something near the TV station, so he took Wen Yifan with him. Wen Yifan said she would visit the hospital when she had time.

As they were about to get out of the car, Sang Yan suddenly saw Mu Chengyun walking over and, using the excuse that something was on Wen Yifan’s head, reached out to pat her head. Mu Chengyun said he needed to rent a place and decided to follow Wen Yifan home on his own. When Sang Yan saw Mu Chengyun, his face instantly darkened, and the atmosphere began to freeze. . .
